Hey everyone I'm i've got a few months before I ship off to bootcamp. So when I'm bored I model.
I've been working on a lot more organic stuff, but the other day I really felt the need to work on a space ship.
Anyways this is what I made. Poly count is a little under 7k.

It looks somewhat like a mixture between Rhienland and Liberty designs. The front reminds me of the axe-head on most Liberty Caps. While the main body is definitely giving me a Rhienland vibe. I'm interested in seeing it from a view different perspectives, especially from behind, and a top/down view. I'm not quite sure how big this is supposed to be but the model itself looks like a Cruiser or a Transport. But yeah, I'd like to see it from a few other perspectives. But at the moment it's looking really nice. Keep up the good work!

EDIT: I'm interested in seeing what kind of ship type you want it to be.

well anyway, I cant see this ship being anything less than a liner or cruiser, or maybe a new type of ship that fits into the 'frigate category' a liner with cruiser or gunboat guns OR cruiser or gunboat shield.

it has potential, really nice!

I really can imgagine that to be some kind of researchvessel. Make it possible to mount 2 GB turrets to it and maybe 6-8 transport turrets for selfdefense in the outer sectors like the Omicrons.
Maybe the texture should be a little more bright but it really is amazing.

border worlds liner?
now that I look at it more it looks more outcast/BW-ish. however the BW line is overflowing, but it does allow less restricted use. the idea of BW liner appeals to me.

Indeed you can change the cockpit with dagger one like on the BW transp. It looks nice really nice.
