Alright from what I understand from playing on the server...Keepers RP Nomads...sorta like the NPC nomads....Now a few of them actually RP'ed saying things like *I'm in your head* Come to me...and what not. Then theres the ones who just attack(PvP Psychos as I call em) Now I'm fine with the PvP in fact I enjoy it if it comes with some RP....but today the only RP i got was from Prophecy who wasn't trying to kill me...He RPed why the 2 were chasing me...

However I realized...NPC nomads DON'T HAVE SHIELDs! So why do the Keepers who were hunting me down get shields?! Its hard enough to take em out but if there RPing nomads they shouldnt get shields because the nomads Dont have shields....Am I right?!

(A) Yes, read all about it, and (B) If they didn't have shields the Nomad Fighter wouldn't be worth crap...yes... Oh, and © Some of them, based on their characters, may or may not talk to you. This is the epitome of Roleplay Purity as is possible within Discovery, and I daresay we all, myself included, could learn something from their behavior.

Stewcool, first and foremost: read faction post.

1) Keepers don't have to talk to you at all. They speak when they wish to. Spamming in OOC in system chat and threatening with bogus reports to admins will get you nowhere.
2) Keepers use shields. The ships were not designed to be used by players without a shield. By your logic you shouldn't have a shield on anything starting with gunboat, just because NPCs don't. Yet, you do. Don't look for the loopholes to seek advantage.
3) And finally: coming here and complaining after you have re-engaged isn't good idea.

Ahhah ok don't complain just because you got owned by Keepers, they are really good pilots i must say and I too have been mashed up (but it made for some RP that I'm sure no one read)...read our server rules while your at it.

I like the keepers... but I thought they are Nomads so that they actually are the whole ship. So I don't get why some use the Wild gunboat which is meant to be used by human pilots with a nomad in their head.

It's a nice design though...

from what ive heard/seen, not all are pure nomads. also, in the faction info page, i think tree stated that there if u can, u can RP either a full nomad, or a hybrid (since taurvi was a hybrid, an associate of the HF for a while)

so there the explanation for the scorpion gunboats.. one things for sure. the keepers are RPing everything they do, so there isnt a reason to complain about them, unless one of them actually does something foolish.

It's a nice design though...
Wild gunboat was never meant to be used by humans. The description says those are piloted by a biocomputer similar to nomad brains, therefore they are technically remote controlled ships. There is no place for human pilot inside of it. Scorpions are the result of joint effort of Wild, who are are Nomads-in-disguise technically, and Nomads themselves. There is a story coming up for Scorpions very soon. The faction uses both Scorpions and Nomad Gunboats.

The Scorpion has 8 forward facing turrets with 180 degree revolution angle to each side. Accompanied by an average armour.

That will be a challenge

Whats about the manoeuveribility?
