How are the relative effectiveness of gun types versus shield types adjusted?
I'm referring to the fact that some guns do 80% damage to Graviton while doing 120% damage to Molecular, for example. Is this relationship adjusted by changing a value on each shield? Is it adjusted by changing a value on each gun? Is it adjusted by changing a global .ini file which defines this damage relationship? Is it untouchable hardcode?
I ask because I'm going to propose something rather complex for the mod but I don't want to do a bunch of work only to find out some of the necessary bits are impossible to change.

Oh this has nothing to do with current shields, it's something that you'll say "OH MY GOD THAT WOULD TAKE A YEAR TO COMPLETE!" but i'll probably submit the idea anyway;)
