My name is Xan Catyl, captain of the Jinkusu Hope.
It is unlikely you have heard of me and for this I am glad, the Hope is a vessel that has spent most of it's time away from the known areas of Sirius.
We left a long time ago, when the Council of Zoners was recently formed.
Those were the days when the Zoners knew what diplomacy was and how they must respect their neighbours martial poweress, not scorn it.
We held no love for the Zoner Alliance and were glad to see it collapse as an artificial construct that went against our natural callings.
I come to you today as a simple human, one among the many who have witnessed the horrors that this war has brought to both the Zoners as a whole and the Corsair Empire.
I ask you, in simple words and with a clear mind, what does the Corsair Empire want from this war?
I may not be a well known name but I can speak soundly, with confidence and without the shadow of past disgraces upon me.
