In this new mod Liberty battlecruiser has manuverability of a battle ship, but its left with low strafe force.

I engeaged Osiris today and it was impossible to kill him, he kept dodging shots but my BC wouldnt move so a took almost all hits.

It would be great if you could give all BCs more strafe force, i mean, when u put its manuverability equal to battleships, at least give them half their strafe force...

BSs have 2 000 000 strafe force but BCs only 20 000 what is equal to the cruisers.

By my opinion, and i think everyone owning a BC would agree is that BC should have strave force of at least 700 000 - 750 000 for liberty BC and albatross and 900 000 - 1 000 000 for BH BC.

I hope you could fix this Igiss, and btw, Discovery is the gratest FL mod iv ever seen by faaaaaaaar.

i dont really know much about the numbers - but a battlecruiser costs roughly 200 million - while a battleship l ike the osiris costs 1 billion ( including the licence ). so i d expect some sort of advantage.

the battlecruisers are cruiser classes - and can beat cruisers and destroyers. i m unsure if they were ever equal to real battleships in any version though.

Not sure about all the things you think are unbalanced.

However, unless someone is a very very good BC pilot..a BC should not be able to kill an Osiris in one on one combat. Least that is my opinion.

An Osiris has 700,000 energy compared to the BC's 400,000. And if the Osiris has equal or better armour upgrade it could have from 100,000 to 700,000 more hull than the BC

It would be unbalanced if it were easy for a 242,000,000 credit ship to easily take out a 1,000,000,000 credit ship. IMO

But then its manuverability should be increased, because now its less manuverable then most BSs.

The only advantage on this ship is that its small.

A battlecruiser should never be able to destroy a Battleship in solo combat. A battlecruiser, by definition, has a battleship's weaponry but armor somewhere in between a Cruiser and a Battleship, as with maneuverability. They were never cap killers, they were designed to hunt down Cruisers. I will agree, though, that they could use an agility boost.

Pretty much my point aswell, a Battlescruiser shouldn't be able to to take out a battleship.

If it is true, and I do not know if it is, that BC's are less manuverable now then BS's. Then yes, they should be changed to somewere in between the average cruiser and average BS.

BC's are not less manuverable than battleships.

I actually take a differing view on this, and think that battlecruisers should be able to kill battleships 1v1, because otherwise there is only one direct counter to a battleship, and that would be bomber spam.

I think this because the designers of these battlecruisers would have seen the massive influx of new battleship designs and tried to make something smaller and able to defeat them. I think the battlecruiser is this class.

After all, they can support alot of cruiser capitalship killing weaponry, and I think thats the way it should be. However... the smaller battleships like the Togo and the Osiris are kind of a hybrid, and are the best of both worlds, in a sense. More immunity from battlecruisers, but less armour and guns than other battleships.

A smartly flown BC should be able to defeat a large battleship. By smartly flown, I mean at range. Size makes a massive difference at those ranges.

I'm not going to speak from experience or from a demonstratively superior position, but I think its dangerous and not good for the game to apply hard and fast rules of who wins in which scenario.
