Achmed Afaik was once a prison guard at Toledo, a fine job for someone as violent as him. He is very, very agressive. His patience is the all-time lowest with anyone who attempts to cross him. However, with anyone who cooperates, or that is friendly, he is a very nice fellow.
He is your usual "tough guy", but only those who wish to have hostilities with him are truely enemies. Unfortunatly, he is not very experienced in flying fighters. He is also the newest agent to the Order.
About his background... nothing is known. Nobody knows his family, childhood friends, nothing. It is suspected that he was once a Bounty Hunter that got brainwashed by the Order at the time of the Nomad War. Apart from everything already mentioned so far, nothing is known about him.
