Afternoon, good Doctor. We've met on a few occasions before that time, typically to sling witticisms at each other. I've heard much of your skill with a blade, and I'm in need of your services. As you know, I am an ex-Coalition Colonel, and I was a member of the Coalition High Command. As such, members of HC are often implanted with a small bomb in the base of their skulls, rigged to detonate should they disclose certain secrets related to the Coalition. It's in a rather awkward spot, and its removal could result in some issues. Seeing as I have seceded from the world of the Coalition, I need this removed. I understand, as well, that removal of memories and whatnot is a specialty of many of the doctors of Sirius. I hope you are included in the group. I've been having issues with the indoctrination that they put us through in the Fighter Corps. We'll say that they are rather personal, and that disclosure has its own set of related issues. But enough of that. Perhaps we can speak on more personal terms, eh?
It's amusing how the Coalition tends to go against its own nature by implanting those devices into the craniums of their minions, wouldn't you agree? Ah, but my veiled sarcasm is getting in the way of the matter at hand, is it not? I will remove the generous retirement gift that your "comrades" left you with, but I think that you need to be made aware of all the risks before we proceed... all of which we can discuss when you come to visit starbase Ibiza in Omicron Alpha.
Now, don't be shy. I promise not to slap you in irons and throw you down the deepest hole in the nation for the rest of your natural life, oh no. A man of your caliber has far more uses than growing old in the dark corners of the world.

I'm currently en route to Ibiza Base as we speak. It's good to know that the Coalition hasn't severed my ties to Sirius as a whole, just a good part of it. And I'll take that last comment as a compliment. *He smiles* I'll talk to you shortly, good doctor.
Ibiza is a place of many things, it is where the wealthy of the nation go to relive stress, purchase oddities or just to get out of their villas for a while. Part of the station belong to the Maltese navy, and one room of that sector remains sealed at all times... this is where Jayce Brooks was to meet with his former enemy.
"I see that you are here. Good. I hope the journey wasn't too difficult?"
The voice came from within the formerly sealed, and dark, room which Jayce had to enter to be free of his predicament.
Jayce looked around the hallway leading to the sealed room, before realizing that the voice was coming from a set of speakers located above the door.
"No... It wasn't too bad... Doctor Jameson I presume?" Jayce said calmly, reaching out to turn the latch on the door. It was cool, like steel, but it didn't have the same shine that the metal had. Jayce presumed it was coated with something, but he didn't have the time to wonder about it. He turned the handle, and the door swung open smoothly. Jayce entered the room with a few brisk strides. It was dark for the most part, and Jayce wondered what would occur next.
As Jayce stood wondering what would happen next, the door slam shut behind him and a blinding white light filled the room. As his eyes started to get used to the source of light, he could now see that the room resembled a fancy automated surgical suite.
The walls were white, and has several stains on them, which caused Jayce to remember the rather uncomfortable interrogation rooms the Coalition utilizes to greet their... visitors. The rest of the room was composed of different machinery situated around a rather basic stainless metal slap.
Before Jayce had the time to analyze the equipment in more detail, a monitor on the far side of the room was activated...
"Well hello, Mr Brooks. Now, there's no need to be afraid... while this place may resemble a mortuary it really isn't."
The monitor displayed no face, only a set of orange eyes.
"Now, I'm ready to get started if you are. I would like to take this chance to educate you of the risks you impose upon yourself by agreeing to this operation. I'm sure you'll still ask me to do this for you, however I do take pride in informing all of my patients of the risks they run when agreeing to have me poke around in their innards for a while. So again: Ask your questions, or don't..."
"Look. Buddy, if I can call you that. It's either this operation, or I die after I let slip the wrong words." Jayce wanders around the room, running his hand along the side of a surgical bed.
"So, I know you like to poke around in people's insides. I don't mind that one bit, as long as I get this bomb out of my skull. Hell, take a kidney or something. I dunno. Course, if you were to do that, I'd have to ask for a spot of compensation. An Inferno, maybe? But that's only if I wake up missing an organ." Jayce said calmly.
He continued to wander around the room, before sitting down on the bed-like structure he had seen before. "Now, where do we start?
The first step of this procedure is to nullify the device inside of your cranium by means of a directed electromagnetic pulse, followed by drilling swiftly into the target area with a laser scalpel. Once I can access the device, I will attempt to shut it off before it can detect my handiwork.
The second step is the actual removal of the device, since I doubt you wish to walk around with an inactive bomb inside of your head until the day you expire. For this, I will have to create an access point far larger than the one created during the first step..."
The monitor in front of Jayce displays simulations of the steps described.
"... now, the possible side effects of removing a device which was basically grafted into the part of your brain which affects your... memories... will most likely be amnesia. The bright light you were exposed to as you entered this room was a scanning device, and judging from what I have seen this device is both a bomb and a means of tailoring your memories of the Coalition into something that you would relish, instead of despise... which might explain the zeal displayed in some of the misguided fools who follow their ideals.
Mmm... but I digress; Removing the device will most certainly lead to partial amnesia involving the last years of your life. That is to say if you survive the procedure."
The monitor switches to an image of the device for a moment before switching back to the orange eyes displayed before.
"If you feel that you are prepared, you may lay down on the table and I'll get right to work. Oh, and don't worry. One of my aides will administer the sedative before we begin."
