highest Ping so far

Well Guys and Gals, there is a severe reason why ya haven't seen me, just take a look at this, the ping usually is about 1000, but this topped it all, didn't even try to go on line.

There is something wrong if you have a cable, ADSL or T1/3 line.

Call your ISP and complain. Dial-Up however, im not surprised.

I've only had DSL a few months, but I have years of experience with dial-up. I can tell you that those kind of numbers are NOT normal for 56k dial-up, unless Scruffy is on the opposite side of the planet (e.g. China or Australia). I'm in Virginia and I normally got 250-350 on Kansas, 500-1000 on Disco and ca. 2000 on Chinese servers. Once in a while I would get ping below 250 and very rarely below 200 (usually on American servers). I almost never played with ping over 313, because the lag was too bad above that. That's why I never played on the RP server until I got DSL.

Im in New Zealand...I could play on the RP with dial-up. But i crashed or disconnected often. I have ADSL now and I have a PING of 450.

Slovakia too, but I have a wireless net, so average ping is around 50... But I think I had 3600 some days ago...

Average ping for my ADSL is form 45 to 66, once was max 900

Good God man! Even on DIAL UP I only had around 480 on UK servers!

Are you using a string with cups on the end taped to your computer?
