TeamSpeak Discovery Server.

Well.... I've been working on getting a TeamSpeak server, it was originally going to be used for the Phantoms, but I've decided against that, for now. :)

I need at least one person to help me test it to see if it ACTUALLY works. So far I can hear myself...... That's it.

TeamSpeak is available for free at http://www.goteamspeak.com/.

It will be running whenever my computer is on, unfortunately its a laptop.

If I can sneak it on to my Desktop, I may make it 24/7 for a while.

Actually, Virus..

I have a teamspeak server getting ready to go live at home. it's a 24/7 box, much like Discovery 24/7 Box. However, it's open to SFIGaming.net as a whole, and I'm more than willing to allow you guys access.

This is what happens when you have a 26 year old with too much time on his hands when setting up business servers <G>

TS is a voice communication tool that is kick ass when playing games. I would use it except i can't hear and there's no speech to text add-on for it (i've seen some really oddball setups, but.. eh..)

I think Igiss is wondering if by adding teamspeak to discovery you would force everyone to use it and the answer is no (right?). Adding teamspeak just adds the option of either talking to those with it or typing normally.

Question is how much lag does teamspeak add for freelancer, if any?

They'd be on separate boxes, so the lag shouldn't be noticable.

As for forcing people to use it.. HELL NO. I don't do that :)
