It would be use to RP the up to date life in Sirius. What's going in what system.

817AS(Whatever year it is im just guessing)
New York System

Headline:Peace Talks Begin

After 800 years of war. The Order, a secret organization, starts to begin talks with Liberty for what could be the end of the longest war in Sirius! More on this as the story progresses.


Okay thats a small one but you get the point. It would bring out the journalist in some people!

Different factions like My old one, Sirius News and another I joined which was run by spacy tracy. I think he/she is inactive now, but she/he ran a clan called starfox.

My Voyager, does freelance reporting, when somthing juicy happens :cool:

And I also think the peace thing between the Order and Liberty is a good one. Well RP'd by Stewcool...And I await the result at the end of the whole thing. Should be quite interesting

Hehe, if Order and Liberty will have peace, Corsairs can trade legal within Liberty, but i don't know what they could trade. Maybe Xeno organisms, because artefacts are contraband.:wacko:
Oh and whats about BHG?

Sorry stew, but this would mix the whole diplomacy of Discovery, which is complicate enough. You can build up a very good story, why your chars are friendly to both. A very, very good story it must be.

a truce between liberty and the order is nothing too far fetched. not shooting at each other doesn t mean to spill out all your inner secrets to the other. - that means that it doesn t affect the corsairs or BHG at all. BHG still dislikes the order. - its totally independent of the relationship to liberty.

they fight for nomad studies. the order wants them to develope more efficient defenses, the BHG wants them to develope weapons and technologies that gives them the edge above others in their hunt. - so its more a moral disagreement ( but like most long term conflicts, the original reason is prolly irrelevant allready anyway, so its only retribution for retribution previously whatever )

being at peace with the Liberty forces means another thing though - the order becomes more or less unemployed. - no LSF anymore, leaving only the nomads to fight ( allright there are outcasts, too - but outcasts and order don t really clash much cause they ZoIs don t overlap )
