Hello everyone!

Obviously I am new and I come with a problem... You see, I lead a busy Real Life with the responsibilities of family, work and such. When I get those few precious moments to sit down in front of my personal confuser, a little voice in the back of my mind says, "Check the forums, or you won't know what is going on." So I do. Then about 30 to 45 min later, Real Life demands my attention again and I haven't even put my flight suit on yet.

Reading through so many new posts seems to take me a lot of time. Can anyone offer me advice to speed this up short of getting a brain implant? (Oh yeah, and I don't want to read Get rid of the family, work, and stuff.

I know the problem, but haven't found any way around it other than winging it. Or read the forums at work and play at home!

Subscribe to the forums you really "need" to check and avoid the others. I know the feeling. I sit to check the forums and two hours later I realize I was actually start playing. I don't do the subscribe thing, but I also try to avoid getting married, or having a family or anything that would spoil my playtime. JK... or not.

EDIT: I also do a lot of catching up at work. Because installing FL here isn't an option. Well, reading this... *alt+tabs in a hurry*

You can also hit the nifty "mark all posts as read" button, either for the whole forum or just a subforum.

Unfortunately, there really is no way to solve your problem.

All I can recommend is checking the forums before hand at work, or cutting down on your sleep time by playing after everyone goes to sleep.

I would suggest that we use only Avatars and no more sig bars ... because I need double time to filter out the content of the reply ... it's kind of confusing if a reply message consists of only one line and the sig picture takes up 6 times more space *glances up at Dreygon and Vape*:P

It's not the signature images thats the problem. Its the growing trend of having quotes, and two signatures to show what characters they have, and the size of the image created...ect...ect.

Cheers
