Currently, the VF is going through a crisis; Lack of members, a disheartened leader, and not much to distinguish them form the hessains or LWB.

Basically, the current in-game actions of the bundies are a nerfed version of the hessains.

They are hessains who dont pirate and dont have cruisers.

I've been tossing around the idea of bringing the bundies (a democratic party, not socialist, which was legal in Rheinland immediately after the nomad wars but then outlawed soon after that) back into the relm of (simi)lawfulness.

Think something like the Hogosha. This would most defendantly distinguish them from the rest of the rheinland unlawfuls, as well as add a nice new balance to the currently polarized, black and white Rheinland.

I would like the community's thoughts on this.

K go...

I actually endorse this idea, however the Bundschuh would need to assume a clearly nationalistic approach to have a ground for collaboration with the lawfuls, or to avoid being shot at to begin with.

Yes, do it. Surely they're not still enemies of the state DIE DIE DIE as they were in vanilla.

There was a sig here, once.

I am unsure about this. If they were semi-lawful? What then? What would they do then?

That's one of the problems, they wouldn't have much to shoot PvPwise. and while it isnt a major PvP faction, everyone (olozoners) needs something to shoot to make things fun.. usually..

So far, they would have the Libertonians and Nomads (wilde too) (which a universally hated.) Any other ideas as to what these new avenues would open up?

Perhaps resume some form of piracy?

Its an interesting idea, they are funded by high society members and interspace, which gives them a background of having underground power.

But on another hand they're pretty hardcore anti government and corporate fighters. Especially with members from LWB and Hessians.

Maybe if devs would put them as such into the rheinland story they could for once win...like small amount of political power which would make them semi-lawful. The lawful part would do politics and such while unlawful part would be sponsored by them to make main government look bad, of course in order to gain more political power.

But this are just all...dunno, I need more reading to do about Rheinland as a whole.

Xenophobic terrorism under nationalist idealism, targeting shipments of foreign origin or of leftist orientation, similar to what the Farmers Alliance in Kusari do.

Hell, even I'd rejoin if that was to be done.
