I need help deciding, both are great.
This is my weapon set up probobly

I like how the Talon strafes and how its stable while using thruster and firing. Manuververs a bit hard
I like how the Nephthys flies. Fast, agile. Every gun is foward facing but the strafing feels unstable while thrusting.

While it does, its likely its powerplant can't handle 6 level 10 guns.

Hmm yes it does.. and it has worse agility than a Templar :shok:

And the weakest VHF powerplant you can get.

But I'm temped to mount 6 Excalibur on it and try to kill a VHF in 2 shots. :crazy: But somehow at least 4 bombers have just about the same agility.. and they kill VHFs in one shot.

i flew a talon for a short time and with a full compliment of nomads and....i think coladas...it didn't have too much trouble.

but yes it handles like a brick....which is why i got rid of mine

I had 4 Normad cannons and 2 Reaper MK V Order cannons and the thing can take down a Normad fighter at a good pace.

I would go for the Nephthys. It's a better ship (IMO) and better suited to your RP.

The Nephthys I think is technically better, but I fly a Talon as a RP ship. Kinda like my cruiser. I like the way it looks, the powerplant can handle all of my *cough* Nomad cannons for a while and its handling really isn't that bad.

if you are a hardcore Rper, then id suggest sticking to the Nephthys. i dont really consider the talon a proper Order ship, just a prototype.

then again, the talon does handle like a brick, so id rather not fly it. hell, id rather fly a bomber with no guns, a turn rate like a battleship, and absolutely no armour, and dies in 2 hits than fly a talon (exaggerated to get point across:P)

anyway, yeah... id say nephthys (since i like that ship more than the talon):P
