So i was checking the Helium field in penny today with my fresh restarted miner char.

I go to the field and try to start mining to remember the old days...

What happens?

Nothing drops or comes to my cargo bay.

Now question: Since Helium mining is turned off it might be quite harsh move towards the New Players who might want to start with mining. What are they supposed to do?

Also Pennsylvania lacks player activity, i think that's because of Helium mining turned off.


FIX this please?

Its a sided arguement really, though I think discovery needs more mining places in general since the standard four systems are a rather pain to deal with at nearly any time of the day.

But yeh, more fields would be good. But since they can't be added on the fly, we'll have to wait for the new version.

Nothing needs to be "added on the fly"--there a *ton* of mineable fields available that aren't currently enabled.

Yes. And most of them are utterly useless due to the fact that they are either too close to a base (no mining in absolute safety), in Liberty (no mining in Liberty, miningmod is to help people move away from there) or too close to their sellpoint.

Which fields would you suggest to be turned on, and with what commodity?

All fields should be on. Just move high buy points away from fields,and make some for water/oxygen/hydro carbons,and such. Right now those have great drops,but sell for crap all so no one mines them.
