'€¢ All bounties valid throughout Liberty space, including New York, California, Texas, Colorado, Ontario, Pennsylvania, Alberta, Minnesota New Hampshire, and Kansas. Bounty zone also extended to include all systems bordering Liberty (Bering, Hudson, Magellan, Cortez, Galileo, and Kepler).

Hi everyone, I just want to make sure about what can a bounty hunters do at the Liberty space, especially at the bordering liberty.

1. The statement above is correct isn't it?

2.It's clear that liberty has bounty on all unlawful in the systems mentioned above, so can BH just collect bounty when they meet a criminal, without having a specific player employer(the employer is liberty)?

3. In the Bar at BH base, Deshima Station, npc has a rumor says something like," We get pay for killing Samura, however Samuras want to pay us for not to kill them. We always take money for doing nothing instead of taking money for doing something."
I believe that's why BHs ask for money before they collect the bounties. But does that count as pirating, which is disobey the BH ID and the server rules?

4. Can BHs hunt criminals in liberty even they are not doing anything? Like they have nothing in cargo, can BHs still claim the bounty?

Hoping to hear your suggestion, appreciate!:)

Ayup.

If you're talking about the bounty hunters, as a faction, well, they got contracts with pretty much all lawfuls agains unlawfuls (except in Kusari). You'd need to check and collect on the individual bounty boards. All of them say who can claim, and if they say "bounty hunters", you're on. With mercenaries, it's somewhat more tricky.

Well, you can get paid not to kill your target, mercenaries do it all the time. Never seen a hunter do it though. As for server rules..saying "2 millions or I'll kill you" is piracy. If he says "I pay you 2 millions not to kill me", that's okay. See the difference? Of course, you can give him a few hints like "I only work for who pays more" or so on.

Again, this is up to the individual boards. Some state you can kill anyone as long as they have a pirate id (generic one or more specific ones), whereas others require proof of criminal act. Hope this helped.

Cheers.

BH: It seems you are worth 1mill sir
Pirate: Wut, dun' kill me!
BH: Do you have a better offer then?
Pirate: I'll pay you 1,2mill to leave me alone
BH: Okay, bye, we never met.

this should be ok.

On a side note, the particular bounties in Galileo can also be claimed on the Kusari board. Depending on what ships you're collecting on, it could be tripling your money.

[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.

hm, how can that work? I mean if BH wants to claim the bounty is from Kusari what should they say? and how can that tripling the money?
BTW, what if the criminals argue that Galileo is a independent system, neither belong to Liberty nor Kusari, so no bounty can be add on them. Then what should hunters reply for that?
Waiting for your valuable answer:)

What I mean is that you can claim your bounty kill on multiple bounty board. You can say the same thing for both, but both houses will pay you. So these are the payouts for each house:

Kusari:

Fighters: 1,000,000 credits
Bombers: 1,250,000 credits
Gunboats/Gunships: 1,500,000 credits
Freighters and Transports: 1,000,000 - 1,750,000 credits
larger ships: at least 2,000,000 credits

Liberty:

'€¢ Outcasts (1,200,000)
'€¢ Lane Hackers (1,000,000)
'€¢ Liberty Rogues (1,000,000)
'€¢ Xenos (1,000,000)
'€¢ Hellfire Legion (1,200,000)
'€¢ Generic Pirates caught in the act of piracy* (1,000,000)
'€¢ Rheinland Military (1,200,000)
'€¢ Phantoms (1,200,000)
'€¢ Order (1,000,000)
'€¢ Smugglers as defined by law (3,000,000) or (6,000,000 if the smuggler is a Junker or a Zoner)

So say I meet a Liberty Rogue Pirate Transport in there, I can kill him, and get 1,750,000 credits from Kusari, and 1,000,000 from Liberty. That's almost three times the amount of money as I would get from claiming the kill on only Liberty's bounty board (2.75 million v 1.00 million). Overall, much more lucrative to hunt for both houses than just the one.

I've done this many times, but on the new bounty boards:
Claiming for Kusari
Claiming for Liberty

So I've only killed 2 things, but I get payment for those two things from multiple places.

It doesn't really matter what a criminal says about a bounty. Tough luck for him; he shouldn't be a criminal. It was his Roleplay decision to get a Liberty Rogue ID, and Kusari/Liberty will pay me for his head because he is a Liberty Rogue. If he doesn't want any Bounty Hunters to kill him for Kusari/Liberty, he shouldn't be a Liberty Rogue or anything else bountied. I mean, legitimately, there is almost no ID which is not bountied somewhere. If someone doesn't like it, it's really not your fault he's bountied; you're just carrying out the order. The person being shot should really take it up with the people issuing the bounty, not you.
