Earning money as corsair

Hi I know the best source of income for corsairs is piracy, but I currently have a Correo transport. As you can guess It isn't that intimidating so I can't demand money from most ships. Do you know an alternate source of income for Corsairs, at least until I can buy a better ship?

Err ... You don't need to be inRP for this question ...

I think you can haul Artifacts as a Corsair ... aaand take it to Liberty or New Tokyo, if you can ... besides that, I think Luxury Liner Hawaii may also take Artifacts!

The Correo can be pretty scary as a pirate ship, just give it a try and dont ask for 10 Millions. I think you should be able to make quite some cash with it this way.

shoot npc transports with goods you can sell on bases you cna dock with.

ie superconductors, gold, hfuel, engine parts

and correo is pretty badass if you work in a team of two or more. a correo can deshield a battleship in under three minutes ALONE, when on full shieldbuster loadout. get something that tears up hulls as a wingman and you can be a proper scourge. with some brains, that is.

yup, i tested that loadout on his battleship.... correro is a dreadful thing... by no means can you underestimate it. It simply is a beast. bit "underpowered" though, as it should have some better turret mounts (class 5 instead of class 4)

Anyway, what they said is right, get a CAU(x) on it and put 6 shieldbusters and 2 sala(turret). Then use Nuke and TCD.... bring a mate with a bomber/titan and your pretty much set for destruction.

A gunboat will loose its shield against that loadout in less then 10 seconds... a cruiser shield WILL go down within 30-40 seconds of fire... I have during training beaten (de-shielded and nuked off all guns) a sair cruiser with my corerro. It is possible, but you really need to work on your dodging and pray that a eneme cruiser dont use solaris (then your dead anyway)....

Good tip, sit outside FP in Omega 3, kill transports and just take whatever pays the most and sell it at FP
you can easyli make a 5-10m there within a reasonably short time.

Correo can be a nice pirate ship...if there are 3 or 4 of them, one id just shoot with my transport turrets, and live happily ever after.

Corsair bomber with snac and td on the other hand, ask for cash or life...you may have to take a lot of life, but will get cash eventually.

Correo's can be used to do cargo piracy on NPCs with some degree of efficiency. You'll just fill up very fast. I'm often hitting the Rugen and Douglas station perimiters with a pirate transport for that purpose (Cambridge, Omega 7 and Omega 11 work well too if you're hunting for enemy transports). Just make sure you scan the target's cargo and go for high value stuff such as superconductors. H fuel in Omega 3 is also good, since you can sell it quickly at Freeport 1.

Correo's are also reasonable in doing missions. Team up with a bomber or two and you can suck up the excess cargo that the bombers don't have space for when you do missions.

Equipping a mining turret or two allows you to use the Correo as a small mining vessel for artifacts. Mine around the Gamma jumphole in Theta for best effect but watch out for passing BHG and Outcasts - there's no friendly base nearby.
