greetings all. i just met someone with a verry nice an great ship.
it was a barge.

after some questions to the captain of that vesel i got realy intrested in it.
now i am wondering how other barge captains are likeing there barge and if they think it is worth buying one.

will glady hear the responses with friendly greetings

If you're very patient, go for it..
If you don't want to waste 50 mins going from one system to another, get rammed by a small NPC and then take 10 mins to turn around, get frustrated in trying to dock a simple station, get restricted were you can go physically, don't buy it.

Wel it can only land on bases but thats something i could adjust to,
that turning point hmm didnt think about that. and then the time it takes i could adjust to that to.

its ofcourse obvious that an pirate will play with a ship like that like a cat with its mouse .
but i figured even if i cant get to the best seling place. to trade in such amounts could cover it .

corect me if i am wrong but so far i am still intrested.

any other barge captains having an opinion about this?

I don't think waiting 5 minutes for cruise engine and 25 impulse speed is worth of 550mil credits.
But that's just my opinion. I don't have Barge.

Planning on at least over 9 billion.

Just be patient and you will make your money.

Play on 'trough' times. The lowest amount of people = better.

Since i live in a time zone wich alow me to play in such times, would it be an + for me . i have at least 4 hours in wich the server have around 60 people in space. anyone else who have an opinion about this flying station called barge?

Yes, I have to stay up super late for it to be at 60 players, If you can, always trade at this time no matter what ship.

yeah ok its best for every ship but i want some barge captians giving them reason to fly one or to not fly one . thanks anyways

im one fo the few good bardge drivers i know this cause i can get the damn thing from puertorico to omicron alpha in less then two hours.

during a planetary alignment
with extremely good luck
and one vehicle to flip me if i get screwed on the pancake asteroids

Also Trafalgar to bpa newgate runs.. this is possible with the barge but only if you have exstreme patience and willingness not to rage and kill everyone who looks at you wrong when some molly taps you inside the minefield.
