if you realy want to push youre powerhold you can put 2 razors or 1 razor and 1 pulse together with solaris or cerberus. youre power will empty in an blink of an eye but at least there is some fire power in it
Well your lookin at an Medium Agile GB with 6 forward firing turrets and 4 backwards.
--> 2 Pulse Cannons on the Forward Mounts. 4 Zoner Turrets on the others.
When fighting Snubs:
Pick a direction, switch to turret view and use the Zoner turrets.
ITS IS PARAMOUNT to use 'Thrust + Strafe' with 'Reverse Thrust' thrown in there ALOT to avoid SNACs and MiniRazers. (I keep my ring finger on "tab" my middle on "A" and my index on "X" so I switch from "tab+a" To "x" to dodge the SNACs)
When fighting anything bigger than Snubs:
Start off 2k away, use 'Reverse + Alternating Strafes' to dodge while firing your Pulse cannons until the enemy shields are down. Then work on maneuvering to keep your Zoner Turrets on him until your shields are almost down. Make one last 'Joust' and keep thrusting in the same direction (use reverse fire for some last munute shots) Get 1-2k away and repeat.
THE KEY HERE (especially in GB vs GB) is to take his shields down before yours go down, then do as much hull damage before you have to take off to regen some of your shields. If your's start gettin close to going down, joust him and thrust far enough away for a bit of shield regen while he's turning to come get you, then you take his down with your Pulse's before he even gets to start fighting again.
Hope that made sense, it works for me. If you have questions PM me mate;)
' Wrote:Wow, looks like my previous setup, wasnt so wonky.
I originally had it outfitted with four zoner turrets for anti npc duties, with a single pulse and razor for anything bigger.
Thanks for all the tips!
That works too, my only advise is to use those Zturrets on the hull as much as you can, they'll suck energy so learn to aim with the Pulse and wreak havok with the others on the Hull only;)See you in the Black!
