Good day,

My name is Dr Niels Bohr of the Lincoln Research Institute from Planet Manhattan.
My colleague and I are in the field of bio-neural, bio-mechanical, radiation and alien technologies.
We have been doing some information gathering, looking to diversify our database with the on goings around Liberty.

We had been turning up trumps in search of anything of relevance to our studies until today when we were on a routine exploration mission, we came across a rather unusual cloud in the Kansas system. Upon further exploring of the cloud, we discovered three things.

Above: We discovered this husk of a station, Junction Station is the signature I am receiving from this wreck
Below: We also discovered a very peculiar interstellar gate next to a wrecked Lane Hacker very heavy fighter. This gate looks nothing like anything I have seen.

We did some on site research, and discovered this jump-gate can be jump started with a common nuclear device. We managed to activate it Below and entered a system I have not got, nor can I plot on my navigational computer.

We ventured through this system, and discovered the radiation is of a critical frequency. Our armor and specific radiation deflectors were working at full capacity to keep our vessels structural integrity at optimum levels.

Below We noticed a very unusual cosmic cloud, and decided to do some tests. It appears the radiation is of no significant difference in or out of the cloud. Upon further exploring, we came across a most bizarre artifact with in it.

We have taken some detailed pictures, and can divulge them to you at a later stage.

We continued on our journey, and came across yet more artifacts, these looking like an alien trade link system. They appear very ancient, pre-Sirius I would believe.



We also discovered what looked to be a conventional jumphole. After finishing our data collecting, we fly into the jumphole and found ourselves at the Texas Jumphole in Pennsylvania. This has me totally frustrated as I cannot understand why and how this has occurred in Liberties backyard with no publicised knowledge of this before.

We are requesting a liaison with your most experienced scientists in this matter.

As the head of the LSF I must say that I am quite intrigued by your discoveries. According to the feeds you've provided us, many of these relics seem related to Dom'Kavash digging sites located around Sirius. It is quite probable that those objects were built many millenniums ago.

There is a possibility that the LSF can support your organization, whether economically or technologically. However, as I am not a scientist myself, and thus enable to properly judge your work and organization, I will forward this message to Doctor Wilkins of the LSF. As the head of the R&D he'll be able to help you better.

Still, a partnership, if the scientific material is judged of good quality, is a possibility that we are open to.

• Thank you for the time you have spent looking over our findings. I believe a mutual co-operation in technological findings regarding the Slomon K'hara, and the Dom'Kavash dig sites will further our understanding of the reasons behind the infestation of alien entities, and their real purpose here.
  
  I also wish to seek co-operation with the Liberty Security Force regarding the acquisition and transportation of both Alien organisms and Nomad remains, as well as other important items regarding our research.
  
  Today I also discovered a live Nomad entity, and it appeared to be harassing a trader with in the borders of New York. I took these images before it fled;

My name is Harry Clark, and I have been appointed by Doctor Wilkins and the High Command to evaluate the results of your research and discuss the possibilities of further cooperation between Lincoln Research Institute and the Department of Research, Development & Analysis of the Liberty Security Force. To do so I had to check the LSF database in order to find out whether the expedition to the interstellar gate you mentioned had been arranged before or not. Here are the results I have come to.

Despite the fact that we had been aware of the location of the Turtle Creek Nebula gate, no research expedition to the linked system was arranged. Therefore, the data you have gathered may be of great interest to us. As Direcrtor Copperfield stated, your findings are intriguing indeed. Despite the fact that we don't possess the data on the system itself, some of the objects you have found are known to our specialists, who already had the chance to take a look at the "trade lane". However, our specialists never had the opportunity to study such an object closely. And "the artifact" you have found is even more intriguing. Some of our specialists would like to take a closer look at the object, no doubt.

And now we come to your request. You see, some of the items you requested wouldn't be available... normally. However, I could try to talk to my superiors both in my Department and in the High Command in order to arrange something. To do so I would need to show the High Command that you are ready to cooperate at all levels. I think that a joint research expedition back to the system could be arranged, thus you will show your willingness to cooperate.

Here is the conclusion: I shall try to convince the High Command to fund the joint expedition which would show your reliability. Thus you might earn the approval of your request. However, you must understand that should your request be approved, there would be some consequences. I expect that you would have to work closely with the LSF RD&A Department and its researchers.

An honor it is to be able to collaborate our findings with the leading research outfit Liberty has to offer. I would be humbled as such to have the opportunity to work with you in anyway to delve deeper into the mysteries that lie before us through the marvel that is the Turtle Creek Nebula.

When we made our venture into the unknown Nomad system, we had the opportunity to get some more detailed images that we can share with you now. These images comprise of surface texture, unique features and structural examples, and we can supply these to you pronto. However we are more than accepting of a joint venture with you to return to the site and begin a more in depth study of the artifacts, we would like to make another visit and spend longer there this time.

We understand the delicacy of this sensitive information, and therefore also understand the stipulations required to work alongside you to get the required access available to us. I should give you my excuses for a little delay. First of all, I have talked to some people, and while they said that the joint expedition would work perfectly, it would take some time to arrange, so currently I am not able to tell you the time of it. However, your approach to the matter is appreciated, therefore we may get to the outcome which would benefit both Lincoln Research Institute and the RD&A. I am not the man taking decisions, I am merely a researcher who was chosen to evaluate your findings and represent the LSF when it comes to the scientific side of the question. That is why I tell you that the approval of your request may take some time, since it all depends on my superiors.

Speaking of the possible expedition and your previous findings. Should the joint expedition be arranged, our team would need every single piece of data concerning the structures you found in the unknown system. Considering the effect of radiation on the hull integrity, any piece of information which we can get before the expedition itself would help. After all, showing the images to our team on the pre-mission briefing would at least give them the image of what they are going to study. That would increase speed and thus productivity and safety of the expedition.

That is why I would rather study the images you have acquired before venturing into the unknown system once again. This may give my superiors even greater idea of the significance of your findings, thus inreasing the chances for the approval of your request and of the joint venture into the unknown Nomad system. Besides, pre-expedition analysis is vital when it comes to such matters. In the meantime, I shall remind my superiors about your request. Eventually something may come out of it.

I absolutely understand the need for proper preparations necessary for an expedition of this magnitude. Our angle on exploration is differential in structure to yours, and of course we'd be in your company for such a venture and so will develop project appropriately.

Let me know where you would like for us to send our other data. I recently obtained more information regarding Slomon K'ara, and had an opportunity to test some new equipment. We have made a break through in our development of psy-tech and have now been able to register the audio frequency broadcasted out by the entities, and also in being able to safely repel unwanted signals. Our device doesn't record well, just a very monolog recording. I have mounds of data I would require you and your staff to view.

When we are satisfied with the reliability of our psy-device, dubbed 'Tinnie', we would be interested in showing you the technology, before we market it for commercial application.

I have over looked the samples of data that was circulated through. I must say that if you find my pet project "Leapardo," a Research Satellite, then I would certainly give you anything out of my pocket for the joint research project. Leapardo was located within the same system before the Nomadic entities sought to disable it's communications arrays. Nasty bugs they're.

Also a joint operation would be prudent. University of MU and LUCP usually tends to have a marriage of technology with the Liberty Security Forces as we both mingle in the same Government Grants. This goes for detainment and probing equipment.

I might perhaps need to have smaller craft to join in on the Research voyage. Something with more armor too. I was at Cambridge instructing a class as some unexpected Military forces destroyed my Research yacht and killing my crew. Wouldn't be the first time Rheinland tired to take my ship. God help them should I discovery which cruiser destroyed it.

As for the distributions of information on Slomon K'ara I'll direct you to visit our station in Alaska system. Your system "Tinnie" would be that of interest as we have been working on deterrence device. However I would like to discuss the strains on the human metabolically level. I have noted in some journal's that repelling certain waves begins break down immune systems. A quick way to solve this concern would be most desirable. However to market such items wouldn't be recommended at this time. Best thing to do it to keep the populace away from the Nomadic material.

Last thing, any and all Nomadic material you obtain - that I grant your ability to maintain them, shall be logged and submitted to my office. That policy hasn't changed between the University and the LSF for years.
