Looking for Bounter Hunters Guild lore/information.

Lore for factions is notoriously hard to come by, isn't it? I'm looking for any information on the BHG, although not the player faction lore here. Vanilla info, really. All I've been able to come across is what we've got on our wiki, and what's on the official Freelancer wiki.

Check out their recruitment threads. There should be links to faction info posts.

Off the top of my head, BHG are comprised of a wide range of individuals - ex-policemen or servicemen, ex-criminals, ex-traders... even a few Zoners who like freedom but don't like unlawfuls.

Also, they were founded in Liberty, and spread across Sirius. They're not liked much in Kusari, though, and their presence is limited there.

Official faction players that are often accused of elitism, never deploy them and have those weird, immersion killing "fair fight/dueling" suicidal hobbies. (yes, i've seen enough of those lolduels, where house military with overwhelming force on the field willingly loses a pilot in a duel. ffs.)

As you already know, Orin, wiki as a source for information is a no-go since someone like me can go in and write up a good few paragraphs and call it fact. (Wiki gets interesting when it reflects the failure behind the notion that facts are made by the majority vote) Death's Overture used FLE or another software to directly pull ingame rumours into text for the forums. Myself, as you may remember, I do it the hardway. For Vanilla research I unload all mods, insert my disk, and I go in-game to do my research. BHG is one of those factions where it's infocards are literally spread all over Sirius and almost every single person only knows one piece of the BHG pie so I refer you to the direct source for reliable Vanilla information: Freelancer 1.0 Disk
