[color=#FFFF00]The abovementioned factions have been assigned the abovementioned Weekly Scheduled Battle Timeslot

The purposes of this thread are

1. to advise all faction members about the proposed battle time.

2. to give faction leaders a chance to co-ordinate battle locations, RP, fleet balancing and other circumstances, by POSTING HERE

3. for other factions to request the slot if factions trade slots, or if the factions alloted to it don't use it. ie USE IT OR LOSE IT.

THE SCHEDULED BATTLES SHOULD BEGIN FRIDAY 15TH 2008

PLEASE DON'T PM ME TO REQUEST THE SLOT : POST HERE INSTEAD

Agreed-to terms for the battle

Ships:
  1. Each side may have the following:
    • One Battleship
    • Two Cruisers (A Battlecruiser counts as a Cruiser, but you may not have two Battlecruisers)
    • Four Gunboats
    • Four Bombers
    • Mostly Unlimited Fighters*
  2. Both sides will have the same number of ships (Exceptions made for small numbers of extras).
  3. Battles will begin at the Vespucci Jump Hole in the Magellan system and move towards the losing party in the case a decisive battle.**
  4. In Home Systems (Vespucci for the Hellfire Legion, Alaska for the LSF), two decisive battles are required for the Attacker to move forward.
*See 2 on the list.
**A decisive battle is where the victor wins with at least half of his fleet remaining. Three victories in a row also count as a decisive battle.

Battle was fought, result HF win. Was fun although I was plagued by lag pronlems during the battle and at one point completley lagged out the game which never happens to me! Hopefully next week will go smoother for me.

I'll let others post the final kills scores as I didnt screen it all.

Didn't had the chance to screen everything but:

HF- Goldenflame has been killed
HF- Krew has been killed
And one of their GB has been killed

We lost:
Koace_didro
Kingvaillant.B
Goliath
Maverick(ain'T sure for that one)
Black_dog

I think Fluid, Internity and Ghost fled from the battle

We also had some lag issue, On both sides people were zapping everywhere

Alright, here it is.

LSF:
=LSF=Goliath
=LSF=Kingvaillant.B

[HF]-GRCS-Goldenflame
[HF]-Asano
[HF]-HFGB-Nebula
[HF]-Derek-Denson

(Non-faction characters were to make up for the fact that the LSF had two more people that we did)

Koace_Didro charged in and was killed in less than five seconds by the Goldenflame. The Goldenflame cruised to the Goliath, where it opened fire. Ramming of the Goldenflame took place. The Goldenflame was destroyed (Critically damaged it RP). The same happened to the Goliath seconds later.

Hanger-on engaged HF and broke event rules. Was quickly killed. Internity and Black_Dog were killed, along with the HFGB Nebula. Krew was destroyed the =LSF=Maverick, who came in and gave LSF support, despite event rules against it. [LR]-Valdar joined to compensate after the LSF agreed to it. =LSF=Maverick was destroyed. Kingvallant was destroyed, as was Spaceghost. Liquid fled. Remaining Legion forces returned to Vespucci, while The.Cutting.Edge towed the GRCS Goldenflame to Phoenix Shipyards.

Results:
LSF lost all it's ships, plus a few illigally engaging independents, with only Liquid escaping. The Legion lost only three ships of 7.

Decisive Victory for the Hellfire Legion.

The next battle will occur in a week at Freeport 4.

An hour and ten minutes, actually, but it should be. And yes, those ten minutes do matter occasionally.
