Whats up with the Kansas system in the next mod, anything?
The one planet gonna be terraformed? More research being done in the system ? Surely theres a good reason to place it in the mod eh?

It's purely used as a gateway to unknown.

Although, I recall reading that RP was intended for it, but it has since been abandoned.

Iridium can be mined there, but will be gone 4.86. I don't know any more than that.

According to the official 4.86 map, Kansas is still there.

The NTF used to live in it, then the LSF kicked them out. That's about the most notable thing that's happened there.

I don't think anything will happen to the system in .86, except maybe the gate will go inactive. Not sure though.

On topic: Yes, the Junction is used fairly often for RP, only must be that you're online in the wrong moments...

Okay, so Kansas is actually very interesting. It may be desolate, but instead of being an empty waste, its actually seen as a blank slate. Theres Junction station, LSF operations, nomad bases, Eva's base on the moon, Cerberus base on a planet, and a Cloud City on the gas giant. Its honestly amazing how much RP such an empty system gets. And player-owned bases will be awesome.
