This was asked before numerous times, even I made a thread about it (I think). I know of countless instances where moronic navy/military players who don't know better than to read its infocard and start shooting. Please don't give them an excuse, rename the damn thing.
A simple edit of the infocard shouldn't be too time consuming, right?
It's called Pilgrim. Who cares what cognomen the lawfuls attached to it throughout the decades...
The misunderstanding that the nickname creates is a fun one. I support any phenomena what can be a reason for someone to nitpick (or even shoot) on you. "Just a rusty liner? Don't try to fool me, my granddad told me that slaves are shipped in those. So tell me, who's your contact while I ask it nicely!"
I've flown one regularly and have had the odd instance when this has occurred (not so much of the shooting part)
I just mention to the officer (or person asking) that its a Pilgrim still chufflin' from tha aeons its been in service
It's only got the label of "Slave Liner" cause of the recent recommissioning of these ships to Slave traders and smugglers
Although I still wouldn't mind the "Slave" part taken out
' Wrote:Look at how people reacted when the Congress moved refugees out of a warzone in Pilgrims (see the Sigma incident).
That was not something I like to remember. It wasn't the ships' or the Congress players' faults, but rather the players they interacted with and subsequently had their unique way of roleplaying upon them.
I've said enough. My point is a name change would be beneficial to all Pilgrim liner owners.

The ship was originally added for slavers, on behalf of NEXUS. It's not actually a Junker ship. If you want to make it into a Junker ship however, feel free. It's not like there are actually any real slavers on the server, due to their horrible ID.
