I have an older Nvidia GFX 8600 in my computer since my last card fried but my brother has an
one of these ATI 5450. Just wondering which is better.

Having had a look at the specs for both cards, the ATI comes out on top.

For a start it has 1gb of memory to play with, where the Nvidia only has 256mb.

This makes a pretty big difference in the performance of the graphics card.

I personally own a ATi HD 5570 and so far it has handled everything I've thrown at it.

A possibly very ordinary signature coming soon.

I have almost the same in any case the same card and I get to play against others. Obviously I have reduced the quality of display throughout the resolution and reduce the options if it can help you! good luck

I'm also using a very poor computer, reducing color depth to 16bit helps a lot with my performance, although it's a noticeable change.

-edit-
For the original question - for some reason I was looking at the GeForce card of the person above me, not the OP >.<
