well actually, I have been poked by several sairs separately about them wanting this fight rather with hessians than OC.
That said, they were indies and they weren't around two years ago if you get what I mean.

If RHA wants activity, they just group up and raid gamma =/

Weekly even in Hammen Hole, ye. Remember that time when you chased me from gamma (i was in zeph) and LWB guy got caught so we had to return to help him and called more people and you called more people and we spent 3 hours shooting each other? We need to do it weekly.

The idea is sweet.
I would say that real event on the event server will be perfect with restart ships and some plot- melee in Omega 5 and Omega 47 as battle-place, just restrict the Corsair battleships to only a couple for the official factions only- in order to prevent capital ship spam and unfair advantage for the corsair side. This fit the RP history and the fights for Casablanca base.

Official faction players that are often accused of elitism, never deploy them and have those weird, immersion killing "fair fight/dueling" suicidal hobbies. (yes, i've seen enough of those lolduels, where house military with overwhelming force on the field willingly loses a pilot in a duel. ffs.)

I actually planned to have a static event on the RP server first for two reasons:

Before I try a dynamic chain of events that isn't even nearly as bold as the borderworlds campaign, I'd have to make sure that all parties in the mix are actually reliable and wouldn't just quit because of some pitiful drama.
That's why I would go with static first.

Second of all, I really don't like having events on the event server because people actually worked quite hard to get their cap ships on the RP server. Not only by getting all the credits together but by coming up with crew chars and a nice story. All this is void on the event server.

If it is requested, I can host one.

There are some issues, however, because the Hessians lack a battleship and I foresee legate spam. But that can also be controlled.

The last SCRA vs Zoners n' Friends event went pretty well, it was controlled. Perhaps someone from the hessian and corsair side can contact me, will be given admin rights and can cooperate to balance the restrictions with fun.

considering how the poll is going, I will most def host the hessians-vs-sairs event in o5.

And just so you know, I plan to have it escalate as hard as possible. Control is the very least thing I want in this. There will be massive capspam and up until now unseen gankage of legendary proportion.
