History
A highly organized criminal group that follows traditions of Corsican mafia of Earth, the Union Corse is known for strict secrecy among its members, and access to nearly limitless resources, including support of high-ranked government officials. The group was formed circa 100-110 AGS on Planet New Paris, and has since expanded into all the populated planets of Gallia, becoming the oldest of the currently operating large organized criminal groups.

From about 350 AGS, the Unione Corse operate in space as well as planetside. The Corse are mostly interested in black market trade and rarely rely on brute force. Still, their pilots are among the most skilled in the Gallic space, and in those cases when they do engage civilian transports in order to borrow the valuables they are carrying, corporate escorts rarely stand a chance against Corse raiders.

The Corse don't put much trust in other pirate groups and deal with them only out of necessity, in many cases acting as bounty hunters and taking out the most dangerous pirates at request of their government protectors or corporate sponsors. The Maquis are possibly the only Gallic group whom Corse respect to some extent, either for their connections with the Council, or for avoiding the spheres of illegal activity that Corse are trying to control themselves.

Corse do not have dedicated headquarters, and their leaders mostly stay planetside. Of all Corse bases, Gleize Depot is considered to be the primary one, but there is no specific ranking to confirm its status.


Synopsis
In recent decades, Sang et Vin, has become the predominate Unione Corse Organization. Lead by the "Don", who ghas broken his empire up into 3 divisons or "families". The first of which is the black market empire requiring Smugglers and traders to move goods within Gallia and into Sirus. The second division is one that is focused on "Taxing", Sirian and Gallia "traders" that are infriging on their markets. The thiers is a very small group that is made of elite pilots that are paid bounty hunters and assassins.

Seems to me like you're just picking the unlawful side of the Corse. They're so much more then just pirates. If you want to pirate, get a Brigand ID.

We are not Pirates.. we might be unlawful -- but we can ally with the Gallia Police.. we can do bounties and smuggle --IE the Black Marketeers -- we are Maffia -- We control a large portion of the black market.. or will wonce we get rolling..

We will be political organization as well as ---so much more..
If you think just because we are unlawful that we are brigands or pirates.. you have the concept all wrong.

Diddnt know there was a [UC] -- they are not active.. and not offical faction... and nothing found in factions -- and other factions on forums or Wiki
So this is an attempt to reopen that group sorta.. or very simular group...

If the want they can request to join us... as there is several already and we are just getting yup and running...

Seems a bit shallow. We need a bit more backstory and understanding of the faction. Call me picky, but I think you should do a bit of research and show your understanding of the faction in your write-up. Need ranks, need a few rules, and perhaps a bit more fluff. People like fluff.

Unione Corse is a mafia. Balancing on lawful (helping out police dealing with simple criminalists, gangs and UC opposition. Setting up lawful buisness to cover their shadow interests) and unlawful (extortion, assasination, piracy, smuggling etc.). I am happy to see that my favorite Gallian faction have interest but that should be really improved. Or join other already existing UC faction.

I am always happy for solid input.. I need more "fluff" but was unable to find anything....
It will be a balance of lawful with the maffia side.. or as I am planing it.. I need to get moving on both..
I have so far only one other person...

So anyone interested let me know..PM me.. and tell me how you can help this concept and faction grow. It is the one faction that is not offical and I would love to see its officalization...
