Hello all, guess I finally broke loose from my WoW addiction and got my RP spirit back.

Regarding my old account, it's gone, any chance it can be recovered in any way? Had a cruiser, two fighters and one transport on it.

Ask the admins for your account maybe they still have an old backup somewhere. But if you haven't played for a year I don't think admins would have kept a backup for such a long period of time.
