Basically, it's Coalition produced to provide a sturdier and cheaper alternative to the Libertonian made Enterprise class liner, while being less specialized and able to be a modular design that can be refit when needed, if you need a prison liner, it can be refit for that purpose, need it for diplomatic duties such as an ambassador's ship, or as a luxory liner, etc etc. This is to allow a more broad range of possible RP than I feel the smaller ships allow.
Turrets on the model aren't going to stay, they are merely there for show. The ship would be about the length of a Rheinland battleship.
While I'm not SCRA player, from my viewpoint they're heavily militarized and have too many targets to allow their emissaries to fly in liners. They prefer simplier and more powerful things.
I'm sure sometimes envoys will have to resort to guns diplomacy too, so liner won't work.
Sorry to say, but I don't think this model is neccesary. With proper texturing it could replace slave liner, though.
This is a civilian liner (needs more windows) that just happens to be produced by the Coalition. That is all. No other link, or restriction imposed. Merely, here it is, this is for you, the community, I am helping to support this ship, let's see the project develop.
Arguments could be made that it is being built to help workers and traders, and independents across Sirius. A noble cause.
anyway, let's agree that Hades here spent a lot of time on the model and deserves a fair nod for the work and some encouragement to make it better.

Only problem I can see, is you put all the forward railguns on it when it was gonna be a Southern Cross cruiser. They'd need to be repurposed or removed if it was going to be a liner.
If it was a heavy battletransport, you could add cargo pods along the extended 'neck' at the front of the ship too - a bit like Starlancer's Mammoth.
