I am considering buying, for my first capital ship purchase, a Kusari Battleship. I want to fight Gallians, however. Could a Ronin player could have a KB in decent RP?

Well you might want to do some digging, since rumor has it the Ronin ID could be a closed faction ID, but I haven't seen anything that confirms or denies them.

I don't expect the KuBS to be openly allowed on the Ronin ID....If there is going to be an open Ronin ID.

Without Ronin using this ship and openly, I'd wager the original Kusari caps will become more or less pointless - restricted to their own house who no longer has any serious enemies. Besides - wouldn't a sizable portion of the Kusari fleet remain loyal to the emperor, and slog through the Gallic lines to join up with them?

Remember, someone has to supply that fleet. You can't have huge fleet without any supplies, that just doesn't work.

So, I'd understand if Ronin ID didn't allow BS to be used freely.

A group of Kusari who were with the Emperor in when the Kishiro backed coup took place. I believe the Emperor was in Leeds planning an assault on Leeds or something. Read Igiss' story line updates for the full/accurate story.
