Good day, Junkers.
I come to you with a humble request. I am a simple freelancer, working within Liberty space, in various odd-jobs. Much of my work has been carrying supplies from one area to another at the request of independent businessmen. As it stands, Im using a Rhino-class freighter in order to transfer supplies safely. However, the vessel is rather unwieldy, and I often find its rather large size and limited technical capability to be a limiting factor.
As such, I want to ask you to allow me to use one of your Gitano-class light fighters. While I realize their turning rate isnt exactly exceptional, my job requires speed and little cargo space. The vessel fits the bill perfectly.
Obviously, the Gitano would never be used to the detriment of the Junkers, and financial incentive can be provided to...a degree. In any case, a positive response will not be something you regret.
I am formally requesting the use of one of your bases, for the purposes of staging training missions for recruits in our Security Department. Please contact me on a secure channel and I will fill in the details.

Well, howdy there, Junkahs. My name is Michael Sevren. I doubt any surviving members remember my name, but I used to operate a Collector out of Rochester, and later, expanded my personal operations to include shipping of materials between our bases and various other group strongholds in Liberty, Bretonia, and Rheinland. I also had some involvement with the old Sirius Racing Syndicate, however brief. I was also around for the oft heated debates which precipitated the formation of the Congress, but I was incommunicado for a time and wasn't around to see the concept realized.
But, that's enough of a personal history-introduction. I am currently operating independently and running a small, independent "import/export businness" and a salvaged parts shop on Gran Canaria, where I eventually settled down for a time-something of a temporary and necessary retirement. I'm growing a bit chafed of the tedium of operating a business planet side, and I'm itching to get back in the saddle again.
I have determined to liquidate my current assets and purchase a new ship. I've been mulling over the offerings currently on the open market, and none have much impressed. I gave some thought to a Bactrian, but it doesn't quite suit my style, and it's too high profile for my kind of business.
Thus, I wish to formally make a request for the rights to purchase, and employ in my revived operations, one of your CS Freighters should one be available for purchase. Funds should be available by the time you have received and reviewed the request.
I am only in need of the boat itself. I am making other arrangements for what all else I need to get it ready for operation. Damn edge worlds are just gettin' more dangerous, especially the Taus and Omicrons. Lots of cash to be made.

Hello there, Arbiter Crow. Arbiter? So, you're the chief these days? I must say, I'm surprised you would respond personally to a minor acquisitions request. I call that an honor.
I've been hearing a lot of chatter about troubles brewing throughout the colonies, and especially the edge worlds. I know things are getting rough, and that's why I need a steady boat. I have no doubt you Congressionals have your hands full, too, but the Junkers always turn it to profit. I fully intend to carve out a slice for myself, as well.
As for the ship, and speaking of profit, let's talk price. Considering the fact that you're currently suffering a bit of a crisis, I can understand the need to receive fair compensation for parting with such a valuable logistics asset. My own assets don't amount to anything resembling a great fortune, but if it's credits, we can try and broker a deal. I still possess modest credit lines with a few people.
I'm sure you don't have time to dicker, and as I need the ship sooner rather than later, I'll forgo standard bartering practices and start high with my offer. Normally, I'd say two five was a reasonable sum for such a ship. Perhaps three if it came with a proper shield generator. But, as the Junkers are suffering a crisis as you say and necessarily must charge a premium, and though I'll be increasing my own personal debt, I would be able to go five times that amount, though that will leave me without much in the way of means for the refit.
That would amount to roughly fifteen million credits. A hefty price for a freighter, but a sizable sum to add to the treasury to assist in funding your own operations during your time of crisis.
