Ok, since there is a fear of losing money due to the recent upheaval in the /give & /draw money commands, mass paranoia and baby sacrifices have occurred (on skype).

So anyway, what're your thoughts on the current mission board system? Do you think it could use a tweak? Leave it be?

Personally, the 10-20% thing has gotten me very paranoid and I'm not an avid trader, so the thought of just losing money randomly doesn't appeal, and missions can be all right in groups with high difficulty.

Other: I don't do missions for money. Trading all the way to get funds.

But that has to do with my dislike on PvP/shooting thing.

Though I'd say the main income should come from activities that spark player to player interactions. I don't see missions as that, thus I'd be against increasing payments.

I've always been for very high payout missions with extreme difficulty, forcing teamwork and hopefully RP.

I hope the whole thing will blow over too, though missions to me have been an area needing attention for a while. This may give it a little kick.

Forcing RP quantity or quality while shooting NPCs? Doubt that.

Personally I'd like to see high-end missions (around 50%-75% of average trading income) in supposed warzones (Leeds, Dundee, Bering, Hudson, New Hempshire, Bremen, Eta and what not) and low-end missions at or near faction home systems (Alpha, Gamma etc.) - for repping and for new players.

That would provide with something to do and even some spare cash instead of just idling waiting for the enemy.

Aye it is debatable on that point, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

That is also a good idea, warzone missions would be great.

BMM is a mining faction. the money blackhole (assuming this is new) is extremely detrimental to our operations.

we have relied on electronic transfers thus far because it let all of us deal with payments after a mining op was over, even when some folks had to go afk or got pvp killed


with a new moneysink, Its going to become much more difficult to deal with. its going to cause a lot more disorganization

they dont 'force' rp. they force 'OMGWTFNPCCAPSPAM' comments in gamma. im soo glad that 'system' chat is now 'local'
