Konnichiwa Sir Jack; Bretonian authorities. I do hope this message finds you in good health.

I am contacting you in regards to an incident in the Cambridge system a few days ago.

The Kiretsu, a separate branch of the Golden Chrysanthemums, has tasked me in hunting a few vessels of the Independent Miners Guild. Reason being, is that about a month or so ago, the IMG assaulted the Kiretsu whilst they were on a visit to Bretonia, all of this having occurred in Planet Leeds' orbit.

Now then, a few days ago I bumped into a vessel of the Independent Miners Guild. Naturally, I felt it only fair that I make it a point to him that the Kiretsu are not to be triffled with, and proceeded to take him out with my Orchid. Unfortunately for me, it would seem that that particular Independent Miner is a part of a side branch of the Guild: Sea Spirit Trading Company. Upon further research done on my part, it would appear that this company is a Bretonian firm.

Had I known that this "Sea Spirit" branch was separate from the normal Miners Guild, and not played a hand in the assault of a few vessels belonging to the Kiretsu, then I would not have bothered with them whatsoever. It is odd though, how I have been around Bretonia for so long and not heard a single thing on this Sea Spirit Company.

It is on that note, that I wish to apologize to you, Jack, as well as to anyone else receiving this message. I would also like to apologize to the pilot of the company Sea Spirit for the mix up, as well as anyone else hurt by my actions. Furthermore, I would like to inquire about any possible and existing fines that this whole thing may have brought up, as I am not in the business for angering the Queen, Her forces, nor Her people.

If you folks need me to do anything for you, do not hesitate to ask. Be it hunting down a certain target, running in some supplies, or even some data on far off systems, I am willing to do in order to clear my name.

I thank you for your time sirs, as well as your patience, in regards to this matter.

I have warned you about using ships without Bretonian papers. I will make it very clear, once again.

While the Company may be Bretonian, your ships bearing foreign and independent papers are exactly that under the eyes of the Bretonian Armed Forces.

While piracy is bad, naughty... I mean those pirates are nothing but currs... why anyone would ever climb into a ship, sally forth and rob people blind, why they deserve to be punished... flogged even...
