Ladies & Gents of the Lane
A Grey Company

The Ladies and Gents of the Lane is what is commonly known as a Grey Company. We have a legitimate trading division as well as a somewhat shady cargo acquisitions and distribution division. Founded by joint CEOs Jade Kaligawa and Silas (last name undisclosed) aka Spiders, the organization has been a small family oriented business. Members often have some close bond or blood tie to existing employees. While this is not a requisite for membership status, it does help in the screening process. LGL specializes in cargo, of all kinds be it our own cargo, or yours. Our Galileo Initiative has been most fruitful in assisting with the acquisition and distribution of contributions from the various House Shipping Companies. For those of you seeking special deliveries or have questions, direct your inquiries and requisition orders to any LGL Employee for processing and review. For applications to join our humble family, please consult Silas or Lady Jade for consideration. Critical information regarding operations is appended below:

Primary ID: Liberty Rogue ID
Secondary ID: Independent Trade or Mercenary ID - Legitimate Trade Operators Only
Zone of Influence: Liberty/Galileo
Home System: Cassini
Ships: Liberty Rogue Vessels, Civillian Vessels
Cargo Piracy: Yes
Credit Piracy/Extortion: No

Friendly Factions: Junkers, Outcasts, Lane Hackers, Freelancers
Unfriendly Factions: Xenos, Bounty Hunters, Lawfuls (for non legit ops), House Corporations
All others presumed nuetral until further notice.

Faction Tag: LGL-
Faction Capital Ship: LGL-Ladys.Fan
Faction Gunboat: LGL-Gentlemans.Cane
Tag Notes: Male Pilots are distinguished by a Gent. in their name. Women by a Lady. Exception is the capital ship and gunboat.

Head of Legitimate Shipping: LGL-Lady.Jade
Head of Galileo Initiative: LGL-Lady.Katherine and LGL-Gent.Spiders

Motto: Yours, mine, ours. If it sits in a box and fits in the hold, give it to us and it'll be sold.

Notes: LGL is a cargo trade and RP entity. Our primary aim is not PVP, bounty collections, or to engage in wars. We will shuttle supplies to the front lines for interested parties but don't expect us to engage in combat beyond self defense. Caviat to this is in the acquisition of cargo. Our piracy segment is not into stealing credits from other players. Our primary MO is to take various amounts of cargo, regardless of type or value to our drop points. Anyone can steal credits from a trader, and many pirate outfits do just that. We however are not strictly pirates, we are a grey company, an entity based around trade and commerce, legal or otherwise. Website, logo, and roster are all being constructed. Whether or not the group is allowed to stay or not isn't really a factor in it's existence. The current members are all family outside of Disco in some way or another. This post is primarily a formality to answer the questions we get in flight asking who we are and what we do. On behalf of the family, we look forward to seeing you in space.

Observation... if you're going to use "legitimate" transports as part of a Liberty Rogue group (I'm assuming so you can drop off gold ore at Detroit), it won't be long before they'll end up FR5'd by most, if not all of Liberty's lawfuls. Especially if they end up sitting at the lanes with the rest of your crew.
I also believe the Smuggler ID would fit that role much closer if you go that way.

That said, thumbs up on the cargo piracy ideal. Not many pirates do that these days.

Posting some updates.

First off, the LGL now has a website, forums, blog all in place. The main website itself is still under construction as I've been busy training new members how to play freelancer let alone how to operate as LGL Operatives. Our physical roster now consists of 6 people, Spiders and Myself the original founders, my real life brother, sister and father, and my internet pen pal Noctis. The family group is doing nicely thusfar, though encouraging my brother and father to roleplay has been a bit of a brick wall. They serve well as cargo drones, but little else.

That said, I'l like to put a lil feedback out there for those of you interested.

Unidyne Metals and Trading, LGL is happy to accept the open trade agreement you proposed with our Sirius Wide Shipping Division. We will do our best to capitalize on your offer when possible. We also apologize for the repeated casualties your ship the SpaceQueen seems to keep suffering.

To the Pilots of a.bunny.rabbit and The.Big.Bang, you'll be happy to know you've earned a pleasant lil price in the corporate pool. Crouching.Tiger and Hidden.Dragon as well have earned a moderate price. Sadly enough intel and history has not been built to make it a sirius wide bounty but we will see in time. Fire me a PM if you would be interested in setting up some kind of RP arrangement for our two lil clusters.

To any Mercenaries and Freelancers with experience in player versus player combat, LGL will be looking to contract individuals and organizations to run escorting mission for the Sirius Wide Shipping Division operatives. Rates are as of yet to be determined but keep your eyes on this board or our private forums for possible work opportunities.

Lastly, to the official Liberty Rogues Faction, you may be happy to know that the LGL Galileo Initiative operatives have been zealously making sure that Cassini's facilities are well supplied from the Galileo Lanes. To date since the organization's inception LGL has secured enough funds on the GI side alone to procure its own Scylla and Gunboat, as well as financed new recruits with proper equipment on both sides of the ethical line of business. A personal note, I do recall fondly the times I flew with the LR- and it has greatly influenced my decisions in how LGL has been structured and how LGL operates.

That is all for updates so far. Lady Jade out...
