It would be very nice if the shippages on the wiki would show more details about the ships.
I miss the following details:
- backwards speed
- time it takes to engage cruise speed
- cruise drain time ?
- strafing speed (all directions)
- turning speed (time needed for a whole 360°, horizontal and maybe also vertical, though that isn't that important)
- acceleration ?
- maybe some infos about turret placement / arcs / weapon coverage
- (maybe things like: weapon numbers (e.g. this) and lighthardpointpictures)

Those things would be really interesting imo. If I forget something I'll add it, but this should be most of what I thought is missing on those pages.

The question would be - how hard is it, to get the information about "strafing-" and "turningspeed"?

cruise speed: Absolutely, this is a huge HUGE factor in ships.
turning speed: I'd say time to 180 would be better than 360, but agreed. However the primary measurements must be Pitch / Yaw / Roll in rad/seconds, assuming they aren't the same. Average agility should also be on the Fighters page.

I was thinking of doing a GIF like there are in Star Trek Online for their firing arcs (though there, all of the firing arcs are straightforward metaphorically speaking, are center-based, and not at every possible goddamn angle.) On the specific ship pages and not the list pages of course.

Super Heavy Fighters should be moved (or transcluded) to Bombers.

As for the rest of the data, I'd relegate that to a new page on the data of ships.

Old Avatars: 1 2 3 4 5 6 - Old Signatures: 1 2 3 4 5
THIS IS THE CORRECT TECH CHART

Turning rate information is relatively easy to get out of the game files, it would just be very time consuming to do it for all ships in the mod.

Why? They're fighters, not bombers.
