Are we keeping the zone of influence or doing something else? ATM everyone is just with home systems.

I prefer the influence zone model. Its less complicated to mantain. And avoids some problems too. (See Omicron Gamma crisis for reference)

Yes because atm all anybody has is one system. The home system. Zone of influence would work best.

Try again, dab.

We've been using the Zone influence model for quite awhile...

K, i jumped the gun. Sorry about the confusion, zone influence restored on the map.

PS: If I read one "I told you so" from anyone, that person will not be allowed to participate in the event on Sunday.

Well, in my opinion, real system possesion is best....faction wars are very much related to territory... :)

We will probably stay away from any zone model any further. Factions will be limited to a home and 2-3 more controlled systems, maybe not even connected to each other. There will be certain limits like...

Systems not for claiming - Liberty, Omicron Alpha, Omicron Gamma, nomad systems.
Systems not available for unlawful claiming - all house systems.

Of course if I won't be able to guarantee that stupid things like 'leave that system cause you are hostile' will never happen again, we'll have to stay with 1 home system for each faction, nothing more. And system wars unfortunately don't work Titus... it's not a MMORPG where you can have a clan with dozens of consistent players.

Why would Alpha be unclaimable?
