/edit: You can vote on both question, if you're doing both, trading and [insert your choice from question two here].

Well, as the title alreay says, I would be intrested in your opinion, which transporter you like the most.
And if you hate trading - How do you get your stuff paid?

It would be great, if you also tell me the reason/s for your vote:

They may be:

- Appearance
- Size
- Huge cargo hold
- Price
- Armour
- Turrets/Armory/Power
- Agility
- CM's
- Purpose

...and so on. What is the most important for a trading ship in your opinion?

For example my opinion:

I favorite the BWT, because:

- Looks quite good
- is quite small, compared to other transporters and has a rather flat shape
- it has not the biggest cargo hold, but you can use it with a FL or IT ID
- price of 40 millions is affordable
- average armour
- 9 turrets, 4 firing forward
- it is agile, you can dodge with it (e.g. snacs)
- it has a CM slot
- you can also go for more "unsafe" trade routes, you can defend yourself from pirates (or get use of the CM's), also a good ship for smuggling

All in all it's a quite nice ship, you can go nearly everywhere on your trade routes without beeing completely defenseless. Only negative point is the small cargo hold.

Now it's your turn. Which ship would you suggest me to use next? (Since I'm intrested to try another trading ship (with a bigger cargo hold.)

Regards,

Narcotic

You missed the Behemoth! How dare you?

But anyway,
favorite trading ship:

Behemoth.
Why?

- very small
- ok'ish cargo hold
- good armor
- 8 turrets
- good weapon placement and arcs
- very good handling
- good looking (well...not perfect, but it's alright.)
- RHEINLAND!
- Oh, and it has a CD and a CM. I have no use for the CD, but a Heavy CM saved my behing more than once. (actually it was twice I think, all the other times I avoided pirates...but that was on my BWT.)

But I don't use it. Liberty goes all "Q_Q you fly rheinland ship! Dai!" when you fly it there and it's cargo hold is a bit too small compared to the BWT.
That's why I switched to the BWT. It's alright, but I still don't like it as much as the Behemoth. (screw you Liberty for pressuring me into buying that ugly BWT and making me make lots of money by flying it all over Sirius!)

Uhm ... and trading is how I make money at the moment. Before that I was THE miner. But I still don't really enjoy the new mining system and prefer trading lately. Sometimes I do missions for money, sometimes I thought about merc'ing around a bit, but afterall I think trading is the best and fastest way for me to make money.

EDIT: Alright. Enough editing. Maybe.

Barge. I don't care that its slow, so long as the route is hassle-free.

Zoner whale.

OSI ships almost never get bothered, makes it a bit boring when no-one hassles you:(

Still, I like the agility of the ship and the trading with everyone.

Stork. It's easy to maneuver through trade lanes, and the cargo pods can take a SNAC. The engine placement makes it hard to CD even with Trains. All in all, it's a good ship. Cheap for a 5k, too.

I fly the Shire because:

- It's sexy.
- It's Bretonian.
- 12 turrets.
- Great firing arcs ( All 12 can fire foward + backwards and 6 to either side.
- Great armour, better with AU.
- Reasonably good handling.
- Cargo capacity is rather good.
- Agility is good for a ship of its size

Pilgrim cause:

- Looks awesome (sort of has a Steam Punk look)
- Rather big but you get used to the handling of it
- 3800 cargo size
- 190 Mill
- Decent armour (Goes great with a CAU 8)
- 11 Turrets has a decent power core
- A little slow in turning
- Enhanced CMs
- All kinds of moving goods or picking up guns and whatnot

Fits a decent role for any junker and has lasted me about 3 years now.

Shetland.
A good trader relies on his guns and his skill and his ship to get away from pirates.
A powertrader is never found by pirates to begin with.
