Greetings.

Ive contacted you today to discuss a very important request.
Its my hope that we can come to an arrangment that may be of great aid to us down here, and offer you something in return.

First a bit of background. I dont know how familiar you are with Freeport One, but its a station in Omega 3 thats home to a wide variety of folks. In an otherwise dead system, we share a Tradelane with Alland Shipyard, owned and operated by the hard working folks of the IMG. Only other stations of note belong to a Bretonian mining firm, and a Rheinland engineering corporation - neither of which like each other, and neither of which care about the IMG.
Then theres us. And weve been through a lot.
During the recent Omega War, we learned a lesson - that being that words alone dont keep you safe. Too many times are there situations where talking wont save you, and even more, where words fall on deaf ears. I dunno what your experiences with other Freeports have been, but we run ours differently - we actively defend our station, and our safety, with whatever weapons we can get - down to sticks, rocks, and even our own fists.

Weve doing our best with what we can get, and it really isnt cutting it. While we have the ships to do the job, and willing pilots - were lacking the firepower.

I'd like to enter into a paid technology lease contract with the Colonial Government for a bulk of weapons technology.

In this case...

• Forty Eight (x48) B11e-4 "Vampire" Tachyon Cannons
  
• Twenty Four (x24) T8 Gunboat Turrets
  
• Sixteen (x16) T5b Cruiser Turrets
  

These weapons will go towards outfitting [FP1] Tagged and Identified Defense Force vessels, used to protect the station, enforce its No Fire Zone, and protect its citizens.
I can assure you, this station has had several very recent attacks, and the need for these weapons is paramount. As I said above, we dont rely on words alone to keep us safe.

Good evening Mr. Summers,

The president agreed to grant you this request, in order to show our good will towards Zoner operations with a general benefit for everyone. He also seemed to be interested in having a Colonial embassy on this base. This point however might need further discussions.
Just one thing left, you will have to transfer a one time payment of 50 Million Credits to the Republics Ministry of Finance (=CR=Constellation) in order to cover the weapons' production costs.

Thanks for helping us out - Ive got confirmation of the transfer from the Stations neural net accounts

You mentioned the Colonial Governments interest in having a diplomatic presence on board the station.
The council of citizens also thinks this a great idea, and one that would benefit both of us.

What we'd invite you to do, is to send an envoy of ambassadorial staff to Freeport One, to tour our facilities, and select consulate space that will suit your needs. We'll play host to your staff, and even treat them to a banquet. its our hope to open embassies on Freeport One for many different governments and corporations - we think this will provide an opportunity for the Colonial Government to open talks with different government and corporate entities, that normally would not be able too.

The weapons for our defense force will be put to good use - again, thank you.
