Bonjour, Zoner.

Earlier today, the Capitaine of our Gunboat Montesquieu encountered one of your vessels, the ZRV:Midas, in the Orkney system. He believed this to be a stroke of good luck, as we had encountered this ship once before, during a rather tense situation.

In fact, it was I who first met this ship.

Bonjour, brothers.

It seems some of the Sirians are as bold as they are mad. Earlier today I had a most troubling encounter with another of those damn "Zoner" folk on his way through Languedoc. For a Sirian ship, it is one the biggest vessels I've encountered so far, and by its armaments, it appeared to be a vessel of war. Its name is "ZRV:Midas".

I stopped the vessel in order to get a reading of its cargo and query the captain about its intended course, not far from the Remoulins Wreck. However, the captain was extremely rude and threatening with me, and refused to stop. He even fired on my Agama and cruised off towards Royalist territory... the transcript of our communications follow.

The boldness of this Sirian is most concerning, especially seeing as the Zoners profess themselves to be 'neutral'. What is more worrying is his threat to bring friends into our space. Naturally we care not for a show of force, merely that they would dare to do so. Just more evidence that the Sirians cannot be trusted!

The word of the Maquis has been spoken through fire and death.

Perhaps this report will... shed some light on why the Capitaine of the Montesquieu was very aggressive towards the Midas. For all we knew, the Midas was an agent of the Royalists, to be punished and destroyed.

Now, whoever was at the helm of the Midas this day claimed otherwise.

So the questions most important to be answered now, are:
- Who are you?
- Who are the Fleur, the group who employed you?
- What are your intentions towards the Gallic civil war? Do you support the Liberationists, or the Royalists?

I think that will be all for now. I expect a... hasty reply.

...Transmission Ends.

There was a sig here, once.

Bonjour mon Capitan

The ZRV vessels are quote: Zoner Research Vessels.

These Zoner vessels have no interest in the politics of Gallic or Sirius factions due to their neutrality. The ZRV vessels are there for research purposes only. They can also be utilised for escort purposes as well if required.

The reason ZRV:Midas was rude to the captain of Gunboat Montesquieu is that the Zoner vessel was cruise disrupted during flight. If he was asked to halt for border scan, he would have complied with request as these zoner vessel maintain neutrality through Gallia and Sirius.

I again reitterate the ZRV vessels play no part in the politics of Gallic space. The politics of Gallia remains the duties of the Council, Marquis, Gallic Brigand, Union Corse, GRN and GRP.

Zoner Research Vessels will only defend themselves from aggressive moves from any faction within Gallia or Sirius
