Errr, I don't know. Some ppl have experiance using them, while others (me for example) don't. I have a feeling like they hate me. Lol.. When I try to CD someone, CMs works, while if someone CDs me, they don't. QQ

They usually block anything below a TCD. TCD and above the distruption chances decrease with your ship size.. TCD will probably distrupt if you have a bomber or smaller ship..

Tell me about it!
Even though better CM's have a better % chance of intercepting the missile, mathematically, spamming cheaper ones should be more efficient.
Enh.CM have 85% chances of intercepting missile
They have limited range..Not that you can fire CM when missile is 4k away. They work only within 1k from ship afaik. Firing 1-2 CMs when double missiles are inbound usually works. And Train CD have been designed to disrupt larger ships like Stork/Crane or battleships(Q_Q at ranseur immune to TCD)
I've found CMs to be utterly useless. I have my CM Launcher in its own weapons group and despite having it spam ten, if not more CMs, I will always get disrupted. If the enemy is using TCDs, then you're REALLY screwed, even if there's a large gap between you and your enemy. The explosion range is so great that even if the CM intercepts the TCD, you'll get disrupted.
The only way I've gotten CMs to work is to weave around asteroids while spamming CMs and staying as far away as the enemy as I can. If an enemy gets closer than 3000 m from me, then I'll usually die (unless the ship chasing me is weaker than a bomber).
