While Zoners and The Order is allied eachother and they share technology and information...
there comes the question...how come Liberty Navy will simply allow Zoner Bases in Liberty?
inRP wouldn't the Navy be paranoid that Zoners could easily pass information to Order since they have an Operating base within house space?
like the liberty looking recon cruiser, the carrier that is derived from the osiris hull or the osiris itself? maybe the anubis, which is derived from the guardian - or all the other order ships except the hathor.... - its not shared tech - even if it looks similar
- but since you do mean zoner tech - you may refer to the one order ship looking like a zoner ship : hathor.
well - the easy answer is - no one tells them that its a zoner design. - its also not like they advertise that they are on allied terms in general. - actually ... since zoners live pretty much outside liberty entirely - and the whereabouts of the order is also maybe only known to some higher ups in the navy ( some that might also remember some SLIVER of remembrence of the nomad war.... ) its not a point that the navy needs to focus on too much.
after all - whats there to win for the navy to complain about it?
edit: btw. - i think the only zoner base in liberty changes ownership comes 4.86 - no other zoner base is in liberty space. ( no, ames and fp2 are not in liberty space )

Naw... There's a good number of people in the navy who could have been serving during the nomad war, and would remember it.
The vast majority of the officers within the navy know the whereabouts of the Order, because they get told where the enemy is by high command. Bit silly not to relay that rather basic peice of information to the people who have to fight against the Order, don't you think?
- go through zone-21, which does not exist
- then through alaska, which does not exist, since 21 does not exist
- then enter a jumphole at some remote corner - and into a system that appears resistant to mapping
- then you ll end up in a system called omicron minor that consists of a habitated planet named Toledo
but i do expect the navy to maybe say:
- sure, we know that the order resides in omicron-minor
- no, there is no way to get there with sufficient force to attack them
- what? - why we want to attack them when they were a key element against the nomads? - well - there was an explanation but its not quite a good one...
- yes, you d need to go through rheinland and some rather distant edgeworld systems to get there ( unless you do know about zone 21 )
- no, wait, you can t - cause we also don t know about omicron-gamma, or was that only a secret some decades ago?
but yes - i m not quite into liberty RP
maybe it has changed - and zone 21, alaska has been revealed to more navy ppl
mind you - i expect the navy to know where they are - i just expect the navy not to know where "there" is - exactly - and how to get there. except for a few special operatives. -.... that is .... thats what i expected in like 4.83.... who knows who knows what these days. - since you can fly from manhattan to toledo in a starflier easily.
also - when the navy captures a hathor - i m not quite sure if they would say:
- yes, thats zoner tech alright ... these filthy scheeming bastards are building ships for the order!!
or
- hm - thats an order ship alright ... appears the high tech order passed tech to the zoners for whatever reason - cause we have seen zoners fly around in "weaker versions" of that hathor ship.
