I was digging through my old DVD collection last weekend, when I stumbled upon the first five seasons of a show called Red Dwarf. For those of you that don't know/remember, Red Dwarf was a science fiction/comedy show set on a mining ship three million years out in space. The characters were:
David Lister, a working-class man in his 20's and compulsive eater of curry. Played by Craig Charles
Arnold Rimmer, Lister's superior. Neurotic coward, also a hologram (i.e, dead). Played by Chris Barrie.
The Cat, a human-looking character who evolved from a car Lister smuggled onboard. Obsessed with fashion. Played by Danny John-Jules.
Kryten, a mechanoid. Dedicated to serving the crew and extensive knowledge of 'Space Corps Directives'. Played by Robert Llewellyn.

So, I started watching it. THere were many classic episodes, like 'Back to Reality' and the one from Season 4 with Ace Rimmer. I've also got the books at home- anyone read those, too?
Ah, good times...

I met Danny John-Jules and Chris Barrie at CollectorMania Glasgow last year. They were a fun bunch.

Red Dwarf was a classic, it brings back memories...

Love Red Dwarf. Gotta be my favourite sci-fi comedy ever. It also rates as one of my favourite comedies in general, too.

You guys seen the new modern episodes? I think they were produced exclusively for Dave.
