Some stuffs I did while working, among other things while doing zapp's sigs and all yknow...

On some far away planet, at the very limits of the Sirius Sector, stood this single monument.
This is the coalition sleeper ship "Kirov", the coalition's reply to the Alliance's sleeper ships.

So yeah, a very simple model really. Since I don't know what exactly is the coalition's storyline here, it might just be useless. Still, had some fun doing it.

It looks sweet, but I don't think they'd bother with sleepers, really. They're either dead, or have Earth.

Plus, if they did launch sleepers, instead of infiltrators, they'd probably have multiple sleepers, much like the Alliance did, with a sleeper per constituent nation.

Well, my logic was that if they knew about the Alliance's plan, they might have built a few to outrace them in their own game: colonize Sirius before the Alliance could.
But, nearing the end of the war, the coalition put these ships aside - as they certainly are still useful, colonizing Sirius after the war would be a fine idea nonetheless.

Where it is hard to explain, is the nomad destroying Earth. For a sleeper ship of the coalition to survive, it would have needed to:
-either be on the right side of Pluto. Which isn't likely, considering Pluto was an Alliance outpost.
-Behind the orbit of a planet, fully ready to enter hyperspace in a few seconds

The second one seems realistical enough - and would explain for instance, how only one managed to escape. But it would probably mean the ship was... skeleton crewed or something like that, because they were just maintenance crew...
Or, these ships could have been ready since a while, in the theory of the "outrunning the Alliance". That means it would have been a full sleeper ship, ready to launch if the Alliance did so.
That would mean probably a few more came in Sirius, as they probably would have jumped once the intel the alliance sleepers went out.

anyhow, just ideas ^^"

hehe I love the ship's simplicity. It was made out of only one single cylinder, nothing else.

the extended intro doesn't make sense completely as suposedly a coalition warship headed for Sirius... curiously, we never hear from it.
That's why I prefer to modify a bit that part of story >>

Excellent stuff.

Looks so Coalitiony too - economical and efficient, though bare bones.

Btw...why is that we always seems to forget the Arabic side of the SCRA? The Arabs were a major part of the coalition.

Have you any idea of what an Arab spaceship would look like?

Me neither.

:P
