EDITED: CHECK MY LAST POST ON PAGE TWO. TWO NEW VERSIONS.
I have really no idea if this is any good, and we probably don't need it for the game. But, it's my first ship..
This isn't done yet, it's more a rough overview, but I'm trying to get some feedback of how to make ships better. Attached are some shots of it. I'm thinking about putting two fins on the back section but I'm not sure..
i like it very much - its what i could think of a further developement of the titan line. - abandoning the crude and archaic "tank" image - and adopting a new, more streamlined design.
its wings are very massive from some angles, appropriate from others. - all in all, its a flying wing. hard to tell how "big" / "heavy" such a design would be. - but it does look corsairish, and thats a big feat allready. - a few more details, and we may well see a very nice model for the corsairs.
right now, i think it could aswell become a light fighter as as superheavy, depending on the details you add.

It's a work in progress... any comments? Thanks.

i like the design very much.
Corsairs lack a good Light fighter.
It could have lighter wings somehow.
Based from your feedback, it looks like if at all.. it'll end up being a corsair light fighter - (maybe a slighty.. err.. a heavier light fighter though)
I'll see what I can do to slim the wings down a bit. What do you think about the idea of putting two corsairish like fins on the back, at a slight angle, protruding from each side of the center divider bump? Or would that dull down the idea of a slick corsair ship?
Also, if this is looking at being a new style of corsair ship (is that legal? to make a new style?) I do have an idea making a version of this ship that could be a bomber. Just by keeping the wings big, bulking up the body a bit, and putting some thick bomber mounts somewhere on it.
Thanks again for the feedback, I'll take all I can get, I'm trying to get really good at this and the only way to do that is to learn!
I'll post some more pictures of a possible light fighter edition after school.
EDIT: @single earred dude - This doesn't have to be a corsair ship, I'll make different editions.. this is all based on peoples feedback. I didn't really have anything in mind when I was making it.
if you cut out the middle parts of the wings and left a semi thick outline of the wing there, it'd look amazing and count more towards a light fighter.
if you took off the cockpit it could count as marsflyer mkII, but dont.
The wings need clipping if it's a fighter. To my eyes, though, those wings look like storage pods deliberately mounted in a way that protects the critical parts of the ship. It struck me right off the bat as a Corsair Dromedary.
I'm surprised no one mentionned the curves arent very FL...
well, it is not that curvy actually. But it looks like a... stargate err deathglider? forgot how they were called.
Has some Zoner lines, but I see no corsair anywhere in this ship.
pretty good for a first attempt - though I'd like to see the wireframe of this thing, it doesnt look heavy at all just like that.
Thats nearly the spitting image of the legionnaire, the vanilla corsair fighter, my favorite light fighter in the game.
To obtain a more corsair feel I recommend what everyone else is, slim the wings down and bring the engine mounts closer to the hull, and maybe attempt to merge the them more with the under belly.
