Battleship turret projectiles

Now, I really like a few of the new battleship turret effects (especially the BHG ones, <3), but some have been unnecessarily changed, and now, in my opinion, look a lot worse than they did before. Would it be possible to revert these turrets to their vanilla/4.85 effects?

The turrets in question are:

Liberty, Bretonian, Kusarian and Corsair primaries and secondaries, I don't believe the Rheinland ones were changed, though I could be wrong.


Yes this is just my personal opinion, but the new projectiles really do look a lot worse than their vanilla/.85 counterparts, as they all had nice, unique effects, whereas now they all have a slightly different coloured version of the same, rather bland, projectiles. And I can't imagine it would take an excessive amount of work, or be mod-breaking to simply change 8 turret effects back to their previous versions.

I don't know how rheinland projectiles were changed as I didn't try gunboat yet..
Same for corsair gunboat.
But bretonian and Libertonian turret projectiles aren't different from .85 imo.. Or i'm blind ._.

The Liberty primaries seem quite adequate to me and resemble more a 'heavy' turret than the old one. Can't say about others but I don't mind a few changes in the appearance.

It's a bug. Almost certain.

And if it's not, then it will probably be requested to be changed, the Bretonian projectile is not right.

I actually like them all better than the .85 versions.

Except Liberty, I liked the blue more. But Bretonia is better (the old one look like a polygon with a trail), Kusari is better (no more weird golden bars with feathers at the end / translucent balls), and Order is better too.

Edit: Oh damn. Now BS Solarises have the ugly Kusarian effect.

Order bs turrets are now blue. I really wish the cruiser and gunboat turrets would've gotten the same color change, as it looks a bit odd using the two battleship turrets with all normal cruiser turrets on a geb.

Order battleship is good. Fits more into snub guns which are blue too. But I agree Liberty & Bretonia are fail.
