Ok, I know that special RP permissions were done away with (at least I think they were, I can't find the forum). I had it setup so that Nemesis (my AI vessel) was a harbinger that was out to destroy humanity. I had a special post and everything, approved back when the AI ID was special permission only. Now that that's done away with, the AI ID changed to say that I can only attack in self-defense.
So, what I'm asking is, if I had a special RP permission from before for my character that directly contradicts the ID I currently have on my ship...how do I fix this problem? Or is my special RP post still in effect as of now...is my RP and ship just going to have to deal with the change...so I can't RP my ship as my story dictates?
Someone help!

Sounds like you're basically asking for a terrorist ID -> this is an admin issue.

Yes, Im wondering about it too... A lot of people says that AI ID can only trade/escort. Im disagree with that, because what point of making cruiser which cant shoot at anyone??? I have AI fighter and cruiser and I choosed some factions who need to be ''destroyed'' by me, Nomads for example.
I dont think your ''kill all humans'' RP is so cool and can be used now... Better take Terrorist ID then, If you so good in SRP requests, cause AI with that ''function'' will be hated by players that for sure
Well hated by players is fine by me. I had it setup that way years ago before I came back (somehow my AI Cruiser and Drones still exist after that long, not sure how that's possible, not complaining). Was more of a question as to why the AI ID was changed so much. Makes it seem kind of crippled to me.
Ah well. I'll discuss it with other people then.

Wondering about one thing though. If "Kill all the humans" is your roleplay motivator, where are you docking? Even the Zoners won't want a killing machine around. You'd be pretty much restricted to launching from Gammu, and no docking anywhere else.

RP is good. but many RP cames to fight:P
My AIs have some enemys and allies, but they serving AI Core. something like Harvesters, but more free from other AIs. so I will shoot at those who is my ''enemy''. A lot of strange things with ID rules and not just AI ID
Edit: thanks devs for awasome AI ships designs))) some problems with fighter but its good anyway

That's the only place I used to dock. While it was a pain it was worth it. I'm not saying I'd go "LOLPEWPEW" Iactually RP it out too, explain the reasons for her existence ect ect. I'm not saying I want to be kill all and that's it. I'd rather just have the option to be able to hunt down someone if I needed without being fired on first.
Sorry if I didn't explain that the right way the first time around. Was a fault of my own. Trying to keep as much of "Nemesis's" story under wraps as possible for the story you know.

P.S. And I hate cap ships with a fiery passion for those who know me. I just like the idea of a "Skynet" type enemy of mankind instead of the simple Nomads that come around every so often.

Well that's the thing. We can't. The AI ID says you can engage only in self defense. This means you'd have to be seriously annoying your enemy for him to make the first move.
My opinion is that.. some of the IDs from way back when like in 4.84, never really needed to be changed. There was no problem. But now we have these discussions.. when we really shouldn't be having them.
Though Leo, this AI ID was actually kept for the most part the same from near the end of 4.85 when cannon allowed AI ID usage. It was modified then to being defense only. Which, still in my opinion was a bad move. The ID needs less restrictions but definitely not 'full' freedom.
