I always thought the Huegenot was from HW2, but wasn't quite sure because I had never seen it in the game before. Today, I got attacked by two of these Hiigaran battlecruisers (or Huegenots in Discovery) and got my ass whipped. Compare the ship to the fighters, and you'll see how big the ship was actually meant to be. ;)

The Vagyr Battleship looks a hell of a lot more deadlier... all Vagyr ships do. ;)

http://shipyards.relicnews.com/hw2/v_cruiser.htm

I'm finally able to beat the CPU now. Right when the game starts, I put all my resources into researching Infiltrator frigates and Battlecruisers. Meanwhile, I upgrade all my fighters and build 10 squadrons in my Carrier. After they attack, I send my fleet through hyperspace and start attacking their defense fleet, while my Infiltrator frigates start boarding their Mothership.

I could destroy it in a second using my two Battlecruisers, but capturing it is way more humiliating. It's just like raping them instead of killing them straight away.

After seeing trailers for HW2 it seems alot like the old O.R.B. (off-world resource base) but more advanced.

By the way, here's my fleet infiltrating the Hiigaran Mothership. :P

You can see the Infiltrator frigates launching pods on the sides.

Slightly off-topic, but was HW2 any good? I've heard a lot prefer the original...

Role-played characters:
daedalus - Liberty Navy
bandersnatch - Ruthless criminal possessed by a (huge) alien
Shredder - Small-time Kusari pirate, looking to join the Blood Dragons

"Bounty Hunters. We don't need that scum." - Admiral Piett
