[Xing]

An elderly looking officer in an uniform even the SCRA members never saw before blinked to life in the holo projector. Most knew him as the quartermaster: mostly, cared about inventing all kind of useful (or useless) weapons for the revolution. Few knew his name, though it is merely guessed the man used to be a junker.
Today, he wasn't presenting a machine though.
"Greetings comrads. As you can see, I am not wearing that very, very old style uniform your I-don't-know-how-many-times-older ancestrors bought with them from Old Earth. That's right comrads, we used a little bit of our extra ressources to make out some shiny new uniform for you guys. Aren't you happy!"
The man rubbed his chin, before concentrating back on his message.
"Now, I don't think I need to tell you how to dress up? Old enough to do that, huh? Good. You will see in the little package we've sent to each of you, there is a little pieces of metal and two piece of clothes: it's your rank insignia. Yes yes, aren't they shiny? Please don't eat them, or use them for spare part in your starfighters. They are just decoration. Ahem, err anyway, those things... goes right here."
He pointed at the cloth-made insignias that were fixed on his own uniform, on both the collar of the black clothing.
"And, the third, metal one goes right here."
He pointed at the badge, that was right over chest, over his heart.
"Good, while you get distracted with your gift of the month, I will finally be able to work on ameliorating these damned blasters of yours..."
The communication cut out abrutly, as the man grumpfully went out of the holocam's projection.
