[color=#FFFFFF]There are no choices. Nothing but a straight line. The illusion comes afterwards, when you ask 'Why me?' and 'What if?'. When you look back and see the branches, like a pruned bonsai tree, or forked lightning. If you had done something differently, it wouldn't be you. It would be someone else looking back, asking a different set of questions.

It was a dull afternoon. The sun was bright, the weather, hot. The perfect day for one to laze about in the comfort of your home. And that was exactly that young man was doing.

He sat in front of his computer and logged on to the internet. Clicking a bookmark labeled "Freelancer Discovery GC". He waited patiently for the page to load.

After visiting the forums, he thought to himself.

"I guess I'll look for some lulz in flood."
And with that, he entered the notorious "Flood" section of the forums.

A certain thread caught his attention. A thread by a forum member named "hollowpoint" a thread titled "My First attempts at a Transmission Banner, Post yours too!".
He was intrigued.
"Why is such a thread in this section?"
He was skeptical. It might be a troll, or a spambot. There was no gurantee of the quality of that particular thread, especially since it bears a somewhat "serious" topic, yet is in this random section of the forums.
Plucking his courage, he clicked on the link. To his surprise, it was indeed a prim and proper thread, not some trolling, random or pony thread under the guise of a "serious" sounding name.
This further fueld his curiosity
"Why flood?" he asks. "Why not the Media section of the forums?"
After reading a few posts down, he understood it all. It was a mistake. Made out of pure innocence and naivety.
He thus began to type, to weave a post. A post which, hopefully, would point the user to the right section of the forums.

-Good end-

I think it's huge. At my resolution using it would result in a 80% pic 20% text ratio, and reading his diaries would make my scroll down finger hurt.

I like the rustic border, maybe less with the double-emboss. I'd certainly try with different stone-metal textures on it with different blending modes and colors. The same effect doesn't really go too well with the text. I'd turn that to a dogtag, or holoprojection or so.

He's looking all tough with blood on his face, but then he has to name his shirt so it doesn't get mixed up with the other kids' shirts at the pool.
