Why not the community? I mean to say, why're they hiding? Cause, if they need to be hiding, something's already gone awry.

They don't necessarily need to be hiding.. it's because Nomad factions are controversial among some (though, as some may have noted, this one has had near unaimous support among our community) and some players may also wish to avoid OORP incidents like SovietDiplomacy's bounty, such as multi-character bounties.

If that was a possiblity, it would solve a lot of the forseeable problems methinks...

Now THAT is a brilliant idea... again....if it's possible...the problem with letting people speak their minds is that they do just that..thay speak their minds!

If the commuity smells CapWhore to the smallest degree, they will certainly object.. but that could lead to public embarresment... maybe the opinions need to be hidden somehow and only made visible to the dicision makers...

Unselie i have 12 members of the NovaPG who dont want people to know they are in there, and i respect their wishes, what the hell has it to do with anyone who is in there, and if they made new forums accounts how would you know also???

So please dont ask anyone to tell you of all people who is in what and why, this has nothing to do with anyone except the Admins and the Faction.

Well, bounties that span multiple characters for the sake of personal revenge are ooRP and shouldn't be allowed anyway. As far as letting the identities be public I personally see no reason why they shouldn't. If someone is concerned about a certain person's reputation I think they should be able to voice their opinion, IMHO.

BTW I am Wild.Neuromancer, just to get that out of the way.

Simply put, this:

It seems you are required to do so, by the above post courtesy of the head administrator and, hence, the man who has all final say in absolutely every administrative decision that goes on on this server and forums.

Frankly, I don't get this take on things... people who have nothing to hide, hide nothing.

But I for one believe that just because I'm not in your faction, it doesnt mean I'm not affected by it!

If you have zero contact with any other players, then yes, you are right!

The fact is, you have contact with us consistently and it has tons to do with us who has been given the power to affect our gaming experience.

I believe that priveledge and exclusivity are rewards, not rights... and who we give those priveledges to affects us all!

Well, I have no problem, if the administrator team requests it, revealing my members. However, to be consistent, I would suggest that they do the same for other factions, such as the Phantoms, Keepers and NovaPG.

The main issue here isn't about secrecy, it's about the community's opinion, which is massively in favour of this proposal.
