END OF TRANSMISSION
// This is to be used as the liner's watering hole, but also pay attention to the thread to check out when the liner will be online for gambling and such.
Kim walks on to the main promenade viewing the casino floor. A staff member walks by waiting the tables with drinks, for which Kim takes one for herself to drink. Her blouse is smoothly ironed, and sharply cut in the right places. Whilst her dress is long, frilly and myriad with flamboyant colour.
"This is one grand casino." she muse's to herself.
She continues to look over the Liners operation's making mental checks of things that she spots, whilst hoping to meet one of her many colleges.
A man steps into the Casino. He wore a black suit, straight and ironed and a pair of black framed glasses. He surveys his surroundings for a moment, searching for the bar. The man was none other than Ernst Geisshardt, the current CEO of Greyhound Passenger Transportation.
He began muttering to himself, "This casino is even grander than that of the Shetland's." his voice had the faintest hint of envy.
He soon spotted the bar amongst the multitudes of slot machines and poker tables.
Clear, concisely and without hesitation, he makes his order "One Martini, Vodka. Lemon garnish."
Laetitia was checking her side-job responsibilities regarding some loose GRN ship that was spotted in Baffin by the Templars, who informed Shasta, from where the warning was transmitted to her. For the time being, she decided, her good TAZ hosts would have that under control.
As she finished ordering those papers, she recieved a call from her secretary announcing that both Ernst Geisshardt and Kim Allen were visiting the liner.
'Please telll Miss Allen to meet me where Mr Geisshard is sitting. I will be there right away, we should not waste such a good opportunity to meet with the head directors of Orbital.'
And she headed to her private suite to find a more suitable outfit.
Ernst got his Martini, but he wasn't going to sit still to enjoy it. There were slot machines, poker tables, roulettes and an assortment of other games to play. He soon found himself playing around with a slot machine in the other side of the casino, holding his Martini in one hand, pulling the arm with the other.
"Now, let's see how much I can win...". Naturally, with his typical bad luck, his earnings should range somewhere from around zero to negative.
One of the stewards walks up to Kim, her hair glistening with the shine of the Casino'slights.
"Miss Allen, our host wish's that you to find Mr Geisshardt and be seated with him. She shall then meet you both there." The steward informs in a selective manner.
"Mmmm, seems our host is watchful as she should be." Kim's thoughts flow away with her.
As the steward leaves her alone, her eyes fall upon Mr Geisshardt, striking her as she does so. Gamblers, the money making machines of casino's always drawn by the lights of the slot's. Anyone could be drawn to them, but always the unlucky gambler, the in-debted stake holder, the poker winner and even some of those who know how they work. Just like Mr Geisshardt.
Laetitia walks through the corridors waving at her loyal servants while she thinks what to tell Miss Allen about the lack of customers the casino was having. She finally made it to the slots room where she didn't take long to find Greyhound's CEO and Ian's friend, Ernst. The guy was probably the only Rheinlander in the liner, so he was not easily ignored there.
She approached slowly because she had noticed that Kim Allen was coming that way too, and she prefered to greet them both at the same time.
'Mr. Geisshardt' she smiled and then looked to OS&C leader. 'Miss Allen, it is an honor to have you both on board the Joy Division. Please accept my invitation to a more private room where we can talk and catch up with the latest news.' And he pointed in the direction of some red curtains guarded by two large men in toxedros.
Kim lowered her head slightly, as if bowing, her complexion and make-up deceiving others of her genetic's.
"How is security and logistic's for the Joy Division?" Kim begins, asking both. Whilst at the same time purposely avoiding the topic of how lacking in customers the casino is.
As she seats herself, pulling her dress out where need be, she sip's on her drink making her eyes glisten like gold every time a source of light reflected of the drinks bubble surface.
